Hey guys, I got a WS7II and run a 2045 pipe and 198 header on it and love the combo, going to get Houston Engine Services to build me a Novarossi 21-5K and he suggest a Ofna 063 pipe, my question to you is how does a 2045 compare to a 063? I thought the 2045 was the best pipe for a 5-7 port RB engine, and RB's are made by Novarossi, so would my 2045 not be a great pipe for the 21-5K ?

I use to use the laser raytek and with the raytek it varied from 25+. I think it reads lower than the exergen.

Ran the B9 today... WOW 2 1st places and 1 3rd. Broke shock eyelet, in the last 2 mins of the race.

This beast was lapping everyone, I am extremely pleased so far.

One quick question tho, after running for about 10 minutes, I would go in for a refuel and the engine would splutter and die, I know this is my bottom end needs to be tuned, do I richen or lean?

Thanks

I ran my new B9 yesterday also, what a Hoss!! The power curve comes on smooth, not light switchy, but pure brute power.

Took 1st, 2nd, 1st in the heats, broken a clutch bell in the mains. Love this mill.

Oh well...was gonna get two Nova engines but the guy backed out of the sale.

Went ahead and got the Rally 9 for my D8T and Killer 9 for the D8.
Fingers crossed....hopefully these two engines do good for me.

You won't be, I have used RB engines for 8 years, still using my WS7 thats 6 years old with original piston and sleeve, changed out the bearing and conrod, about 8 gallons of fuel thru it, it pulls away from my sons C6BBT thats modded. just take care of it, make sure you keep the air filter tight, so it does'nt suck any dirt .

Looks good...

Did you figure out why the Rally 9 is cheaper than the Hobby 9? Only thing that I see if that the Rally 9 doesn't have the L2G head.

dont know why its cheaper but its a different engine for sure
bore and stroke are different as well as the Rally 9 being a
turbo plug engine
