Holy crap! I just checked the price of the Force JL rod, $23.76 at Nitro House. I gotta order one![/QUOTE]
Does this rod fit a RB or something? |
It should fit RB's new Killer 9, since they share the same internals.

What Pipe is best?
What pipe does your friend use to get the most BOTTOM END out of his "WS-9"? I also have mine in a truggy, but it seems that the "punch" isn't there.
I have a lot more punch more bottom-end & more control speed out of a low end 3-port engine, don't get me wrong, the WS-9 is a bad ass engine... and I love "RB" motors. Just a little stumped :weird: on tuning of this bottom-end. It's not a fuel tune issue... I believe it's about finding the right pipe! I've tried the, RB-2045, JP-2 & the AE-2035. Any help would be awesome, Thanks, T. |

WS engines are a shorter stroke Buggy engine, they never will have great bottom end for a Truggy...no matter what you do it will be soft on the bottom...they are top end Buggy engines...not Truggy engines.... |
is the buggy 9 s short stroke? is it ok for truggy?

What's a good all around Truggy engine? Should I bump up to a .23-.24 size?
Or stick w/ a good .21? Thanks, T. |

the strongest of the .21's is the Picco .21...IMHO it has more power then even the .24 sized engines..... Some say its too much motor for Buggy, but its perfect for Truggy..... I have modified Picco P7R EVO 3 engines in stock..they are smooth and powerful and have massive bottom end power that would have your truggy dancing like its never danced before....
Thanks, T. |

SWEET... Do you sell them or just mod them? If so, how much are they modded?
Thanks, T. |

B9 is a long stroke, it would be a great .21 engine for a truggy. Before I started running my K9 I owned two C6 (B9). I could clutch them low and never have a problem. Match it with a short header like the RB 2045/192 combo.

I run a XB808 and it is just too much!!! The rear end was all over the place no matter how I tried to lay off the throttle. I need to sell or swap it for a buggy motor. |
i don't know how similer the ws-9 and the ws-7 are but we run the losi re-10 on the ws-7 and i like it alot more than the 2045 combo,it seems smoother

Its never the rod its the piston the bottom half of it. The first time was in a rythem section and today it was coming out of a corner. Both times l ran 1 Quart of fuel before l even starting to lean them out. Idled 5 tanks starting at 150, 160, 170, 180, 190 ect then put it on the track and basically finished like you would a traxxis motor no long straights and on and off the throttle getting longer and longer pulls. This is how l have done ALL of my engine the same way and never any problems.
Regards, Ashton I think the rod is still good!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...Picture653.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...Picture654.jpg |
