Anybody have the factory needle settings for an S3 L2G? Would be much appreciated.

I have the MSC s3. The HSN is 3 1/2 turns out. The LSN is 5 turns out. I also notice the setting for the new "Hobby 9" 5port is the same setting. So give it a try;);).

Trying something different on my WS7II, going from a standard head to a turbo head just to see for myself if it's any differance. I am using 30% fuel and local temps are 85-95* I am using a RB #6 standard plug now and just wondering what turbo plug would work? looking at O'Donnell plugs to, which one, 97T OR 99T ? I am thinking 97T
TIA Joe

There is a new line of RB engines out, the "9" series. Little changes here and there. Here is a pic of my "Hobby 9" 5 port.

Same for the S3 L2G, finally got my computer to act right and found the manual on-line. Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, turns out issue wasn't the tune but something else. Take it apart later and should be good as new.

You're welcome Jud, glad I could help. Well worth the wait. I got about 8 minutes in my 8ight 2.0 Mild tune, the engine is still tight. I only have a little over a half of gallon on it.

Ya these motors are simply the best in the market IMO.I tried 4 different motor manufactures and none do everything well like the rbs.I really think these motors would be more popular here in the states if there distribution methods would be more efficient.

aaron joy 05-27-2009 08:19 PM

I totally agree they are some of the best engines out there. I believe Brian is trying to do the best job that he can do. He is a straight up guy and a pleasure to deal with. I think the problem was the lack of product to distribute, it took quite a while for the engines to arrive from France but once they did Brian got the engines out to the hobbyshop I work at the same day. Give him a chance, I can only imagine the work that is involved being the sole importer of RB engines to the states.
