V19 is in truck with a 2013, temping 185, plenty of power for truck, even at this point. Super happy with it considering what I went thru to get to this point(long story). Once it drops it's gonna get crazy. The 2013 works really well on these engines in a truck, even a stock one. So is the stock Blast enough for a truck? The answer is yes.

So at this point I just rem them as is till they drop. Big race this weekend so it's sure to happen at the worst possible time :-|

Super happy to be back with RBs.
Good to hear you got your engine issues sorted. Run tanks in front of your house during the week if you can. Maybe you'll get lucky and drop the nuts before the A main.

So it sounds like a winner to me !!! When are they gonna be on ur site ?

Guys, i have read a few pages of this thread and seems to be rather helpful with everybody's input.

Just wanted to let y'all know if anyone has any questions about engines or any other product RBUSA has feel free to contact me.

Myself along with RBusa's owner Buddy Shores, we will try and take care of anyone as soon as possible.

Thanks!
do you really have to ask, Hunter? lol

I prefer this engine to a btt/keep-off 4.

Saw where someone compared to a bonito. I would say its perfectly between a keep-off 4/btt and keep-off 7/bonito

I run the BXR SLS DI 5 in both buggy and truggy!

they are Nova Built engines. Exact quality of any nova product!

Been running an LS5 in my truggy for a little while now and love it! Stupid power and crazy run time! Here is a pic of my tank after a solid 10 min run in the main last week. That's 60cc's left in a 150cc tank! You do the math:

Just picked up a new bxr sls3 for my mp9, anyone have one? I just got back into the racing, always used to race rb engines but at that time i had a C3 98B, S7, WS7 and C6. Figured this new super long stroke 3 port was a good choice for the twisty, tight track I race on now. Haven't fired it up yet but looking forward to breaking it in next weekend.

V19 and V15 were perfect all weekend at the Lone Star Dirt Nitro Challenge. Qualified for the A in both open truck and buggy. 10+ min pits with V15 and 2058 helped me end up in the 7th spot in buggy, and the V19, while not quite giving me the run time I need just yet was ripping with the RB2045 pipe, plenty of power for truck, ended up in the 6th spot even with the extra fuel stop in the 30 min main...

So glad to be back with RBs...

This was after a 7 min qual... that is a buggy tank...

Admittedly, it was a little warm after a 30 min main, but it was smoking sounding good the whole time. 250 after 7 min, 280 after 30. Engine still less than a gallon... It did drop though, after the 2nd round of qualifiers. Bench tune could have been a tick lean, but like I said, smoke, power and sound, all there...

Never saw the V19 go above 205, and it still hasn't dropped yet.

+ %10 off this week... 7-port Blast V20 also on sale...

Lot of RB engines at Amain to choose from.

I'd love to hear about or see that Rally engine in action....

Then there is this...

http://rcdriver.com/rb-usa-offers-10...de-in-engines/

That Rally would only be 136 bucks. I'll prolly make a move on one here pretty soon...

Surprised this isn't more widely publicized.

Called RBUSA for a friend and the deal is only for the BXR/CXR series of engines. Sport models such as the Rally 14/ Blast series are not included. Still an awesome deal if you're looking to get a high end engine at a great discount.
So basically, send in your complete engine, with name address and phone # and they will call you when they receive the trade in.

Can someone explain what is the Direct Intake feature on the SLSDI5 engine and how it differs from a regular SLS5? Also if anyone has any feedback on the Kanai engine. Still debating on which to get and take advantage of the specials at A main.
