RB Concept Engine Thread..
#3421
Hi guys and gals, I have a question I skimmed the thread. I have used OS,Nova, Picco, LRP, etc. I was contacted to carry RB products and engines. So im thinking about adding RB to my product line. Whats the consensus? Well liked good products-motors? I like to support what I sell, so I would try them myself to.
Thanks Pete

I honestly can't give you too much first-hand experience, other than with my two Fire 11's - which are definitely at the top of my list of all-time favorite engines. But here in Europe RB is without doubt among the most popular brands - viewed universally basically as about as good as you can get. I also have a couple Blasts which I haven't had the chance to run yet. I am an unashamed cheapskate though, so I usually buy the lower price engines in a given range(RB Blast, Novarossi P5XLT, etc..), so probably wouldn't pay for the top-dollar BX-R etc.. Though IF I were to buy a top-dollar engine, the higher-end RB's would definitely be on the list.. I'd probably buy an FX right now to be honest - but RB is a brand I feel like you can spend money on and it's worth it..
Anyway, I think it's safe to say that in Europe RB is without doubt one of the premier brands.

I am currently looking into getting a RB BXR super long stroke engine for regional races. It seems to be the highest-end engine RB offers that would work well in a nitro buggy.
Does anyone have any experience on this engine? How does this RB engine compare to it's Novarossi counterpart?
Thanks!

I need some old school knowledge dropped on me here... I have a rb s7worlds that I really like running. My question is about the pipe that I have with it . Its virtually unreadable but seems to have a a-063 mark on it . I have seen that this #corresponds with a pipe from about 09 . What would be the modern equivilent ? This seems to be more of a rpm pipe , does that seem right ? How would it compare to a jp-3 ( which seems to be a pos , but I have one to try ) ?

So my first V19 had some issues that were out of my control. AMain replaced it. Started break-in last night on new one last night(after it sat in box for 2 months). So far so good. Going a lot smoother than first one.
I had a V11 in my truck but it was modded. Moved out plenty well. Just made a deal on a new V15 from a friend that will prolly get cut and end up in my truck. I think even stock they will pull a truck around just fine for racing.
Hope these end up as good as my V11s were. Last year they were the most reliable thing I had going... Start them up, run till I shut them off. Never touched the needles, never flamed, good run time.... So far this year nothing but problems from engines. Hoping getting back to RB is what I need. Might make a fuel switch, too.
