It's very suitable, lots of people run this smill in their buggies! It pulls very hard from the bottom and is therefore not the easiest to handle, specially on low traction surfaces.

With the right restrictor, it's(c6) really good in a buggy. I would never use it myself, because it could pull a 400lb person on a computer chair, but it's good if you can handle it.

O heck no, I dropped 4secs a lap where I club race by pulling out the V-Spec and putting in a C6 in my CR-X1X Buggy last year and I just ordered another C6 for my X2 Buggy this year. My sons CR-X1 has a WS7 in it and its way faster down a long straight.

Another quality, quotable post from Semple!

I agree 100% about the C6.

Thats funny right there:lol:

It does have alot of power, it helped me in buggy because of fuel mileage and where other cars have to hold enough momentum wide in a turn to make a jump, I can hug the pipe and blip the throttle and make the jump, also in a timed section, if you get out of time you can recover quickly. And at one track they still use a gate drop, that C6 will put 10ft on any other car on the straight out of the gate.

16% nitro

hi,
on the ws7 and c6 there's total of 0.3mm shims (usable to 25%nitro according to manual); if i wana run 16%nitro, do i have to remove 0.1mm shim or leave it alone?

Has anyone ever tried the turbo head on the S5. If so what are your results?

NitroWD 04-21-2009 08:55 AM

about RB 192 header, it's considered as short?

Any word on when the new motors will be in the US.

slaytanic 04-24-2009 09:45 AM

Anyone know the factory settings for the S5?

losi8lunie 04-24-2009 11:01 AM

Idle air gap 0.8mm
High jet. 3.5 turns out from closed
Low jet 5 turns out from closed (make sure you set this by holding the slide full open otherwise you will damage the spray bar)
