Got a few questions about RB ws7ll
- do i need to remove the standard plug shim? bec i find that if i use the plug with the shim, the bottom of the plug cannot sit nicely into the button. - is there people using 16% for off-road engine? how many shim do i need to shim for this engine if im running 16% and 25%? Thanks! As this is my first time dealing with off-road engine. are you sure you have the right kind of plug? RBs take a "long" body plug. There are also "short" body plugs commen to O.S. engines. sounds like you have one of those. for head shims, In your case start with .3 mm thats what rb recommends the is the minimum for that nitro content. start with a #6 plug, and go colder (#7 or #8) if your idle will let you get away with it. |
Bearing size
hi guys,
what're the front and rear bearing sizes for the WS7II? the manual didn't state the sizes... i assume that all WS7 share the same bearing sizes? or all RB .21 offroad engines have the same sizes? :D |

Here is a link to amainhobbies.com, for the rear bearing for the WS7 III, and most of the RB engines. The front bearings are all the same size. The C5 and C6 main bearings are a different size. RB Concept 13x25mm Rear Bearing for Square Stroke (E/S5/S7II/WS7II) Engines
[RBC01150-13S] by the way, if i'm using 16%nitro, do i need to remove the 0.1mm shim? doesn't anyone use 16% for their .21 engines? |
What's Up with the RB Concepts Engine Forum?
The link I have for the forum now seems to be dead. Couldn't find a working link for it in a Google search either (just more dead links). First the stopped taking new registrants, then... :weird:
Sorry if this has been adressed recently here. I'm having problems with my internet connection, so searching is sketchy at best... :( |

I highly doubt, the C6 has less top end than a WS7! Both have great top.
While the WS7 has very well but still well controllable bottom, the C6 is just an animal! A C6 is by far a better truggy engine than the WS7 is. |
best plug
I have the WSTL2g and was wondering which would be the best plug to run in it? I was thinking of this one: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/2226, would you recomend this one or another? Let me know what you think.

I think that is an onroad engine.....
by the way, i've a used c6 but how to tell which version is it? the prints on the heatsink are totally 'un-readable'. it uses a turbo plug and with red 7mm venturi. BBT, BBTII or BBII? :weird: on the rod there's a '05' engraved. |
