are you sure you have the right kind of plug? RBs take a "long" body plug. There are also "short" body plugs commen to O.S. engines. sounds like you have one of those.

for head shims, In your case start with .3 mm thats what rb recommends the is the minimum for that nitro content. start with a #6 plug, and go colder (#7 or #8) if your idle will let you get away with it.

what're the front and rear bearing sizes for the WS7II? the manual didn't state the sizes...:blush:

i assume that all WS7 share the same bearing sizes? or all RB .21 offroad engines have the same sizes? :D

Update on my WS9

basically bought a rb2045 192 manifold combo for it, first start was instant loved it no locking on me :) first tank ran smooth bit on rich side leaned half turn to keep running.

Put 4 tanks through , will finish breaking it in nxt week and get it setup on track nxt sunday :)

Does anybody know the diff between the s3 l2g and the s3 II l2g? Can I use the jp3 pipe?

I think that is an onroad engine.....

WS7 lots more top end, big open track engine, C6 will pull wheelies in truggies, so much bottom end, great engine for typical smaller technical tracks, like in my area, and great fuel mileage, 8-10 mins on a tank, because it has so much power you never ever use much throttle.

I highly doubt, the C6 has less top end than a WS7! Both have great top.
While the WS7 has very well but still well controllable bottom, the C6 is just an animal! A C6 is by far a better truggy engine than the WS7 is.

by the way, i've a used c6 but how to tell which version is it? the prints on the heatsink are totally 'un-readable'. :lol:

it uses a turbo plug and with red 7mm venturi. BBT, BBTII or BBII? :weird:
