I just got a C6 from a local racer. It only has about a half gallon on it. I started looking around, but want to make sure Im right. Are the internals the same as the B10? What would be the best pipe/header combo for a buggy or truggy?
Also, I got a ws7III ceo modded, pipe header combo for that?
thanks
Paul

Your going to most likely want to run the C6 in your truggy. I like to run mine with the 198 header and 2045 pipe. If you really want some extra bottom end there is also a new 204 header. The internals of your C6 are the same as the B10's internals.

The WS7 has always been one of my favorite buggy engines. I really like the 198 header and 2045 pipe with the WS7. You can also run a 086 or 053 pipe on the WS7 and it will run good but the 2045 will give you the best fuel mileage.

Thanks, I was starting to wonder if anyone ran rb anymore. I have such an aray of mills to choose from I need to pic 4 and sell the rest..lol
The ws7III I always liked. The c6 was a beast but if I remember right was a gas hog. I have C6,ws7III, 2 s3's, killer 9, jx ninja, plus 4c, TQ 501T.
hard decisions

The WS7 should be more of a gas hog than the C6. This is with the RB headers and pipes tho. If your running a JP pipe on the engines your fuel mileage will tank... Sometimes, the right JP pipe will make a bit more power tho.

Im have the rb 2045 and 92 header. I might play with the werks headers with the pipe.

Pretty sure the Werks headers uses 4 springs to secure the header to the pipe, RB uses 3 so I doubt the holes will line up for ya.

what are the best plugs for the ws7 and c6?

Chris Peralta 02-15-2011 05:22 PM

I have always ran the RB #5's and #6's. It's normally easier to find a tune with the #5, but you can usually get the best power with a #6.

cool, thanks

I was gonna aske about the Buggy 9..lol

Chris Peralta 02-15-2011 07:53 PM

I have never run the K9 or K10, these engines are more budget engines made in Taiwan. I have heard from several people they make pretty good power, they are the same as the OFNA JL .21 and there is a pretty long thread of guys running those.

The Buggy 9 is the same as the B10, they both come from the C5/C6 engine line.

x10

I was runing my x10 for its first race this weekend. It is the best engine i ever run. It holds tune all day and no flameouts.
I run it with 192 header, 2045 pipe, rb 6 plug. Air temp. About 30 fahr. Engine temp after 30 minuttes around 190.

But i need more bottom power? Longer header or hotter plug, would that do a big difference or what can i do?

try the 198 or 204 header. or try a 053 pipe. Could just be your clutch. What clutch, springs and shoes you running?

I run jvd/accendancy 4 alu shoes with green springs, i love the way it engage soft and smooth but you can be right it may kill the bottom of my engine. But if my engine could get a litle stronger i quess all will be good.
