Well if you happen to miss out on a Shark there is no need to worry as the new Cross10 coming out is basically the same engine. I think I saw A Main has the Shark on sale right now.

We got some snow here in salisbury nc and i didnt get to get my money yet. So im going monday to get my money and i hope a-main still has it on sale im keeping my fingers crossed:lol:. I love hearing that rb's geting ready to release a new line IF thats what you mean:sneaky::lol:. I cant wait to get it a friend today that just got a speed was tryin to talk me into a v-spec, speed, mugen jx. He said i really never see anybody running Rbs anymore. I told him its because they cant handle the Power so they get a smooth slow OS:lol: but i love running things that other guys dont have makes me feel different. Cant wait hope there going to be some parts for the motor but it sounds like there is. Thanks guys Speedy

Quick question? I have a new C6 with the T7 on the head. Which L2G head can I put on this if I wanted to? Or can I even do it? I have a WS7III L2G motor, is that head the same or would I need to pickup a new C6 L2G head? I realize it's not really needed but with the slammed bodies out now it might be better to put the lower head on it? Been running RB for years and love them.

You can run any L2G on there, they will all fit. It would benefit to find a "9" series over the original L2G heads since they are lighter.

I did it guys i ordered the Shark 9 today at amain for 424.99 with a 25$ coupon i got it for 399.99 WOW:eek:. I cant wait to break it in and run it this year in the North Carolina champ seires. I hope it got power like my c6 i well have it as back up this year as i only have like 5 gallons on it. It well be ok to run 20% or 30% with stock shiming right? I may try 20% this year to get more runtime out of my motor not sure thought. Thanks Speedyrob GO RB 2010

Thanks Aaron just the Info. I was looking for. May get a Shark 9 as well and keep the C6 for a backup/practice motor. Is practicing with a diff. motor a bad idea?

I know ill be happy with the shark its a RB . What conrod well work on this motor? I know after i break it in ill want to change the conrod, wrist pin and maybe bearing to ceramic bearings. I sure it well last a long time like all my Rb's do. Speedy

That is a low end pipe and they also sound really cool.

Chris, I ran the C6 I was talking to about last week, went with the needles almost flush as you suggested, temps went to about the 230 range, perfect. next question, how about the Killer 9, what are needles on that looking like? If you do not have one, any help out there is appreciated, temps are decent, still real new, maybe 2 fuel bottles, but, just isn't right, sounds lean, plenty of smoke, of course it will, I'm breaking it in with 20% Byrons, with the higher oil content, Engine runs around 200-230 range.

I would take a guess and I would think Chris would agree it will be light years different than the C6 tuning wise if the carb is different. My god you know I have to work during Nitro Challenge do I have to come there and help you with everything lol:lol:

RB C6BB-T7 EB Mods Engine Carb venturi

Just bought a EB Mods C6BB-T7 and I see there is no Venturi inserts in the Carb, does anyone have any info on this? Is this correct?

The stock T7 comes with a 9mm carb with a 7mm (T7) orange plastic venturi. Ed may have dyno-tested the 9mm for maximum performance. If that's the case, he might now have a collection of orange 7mm and 8mm inserts. :)

It's lean out of the box, for easy cold/new starting. Once you race tune it, it should not sound as lean. Just take it easy at 75-80% (max) until you get at least a gallon on it. Then it will really comes to life.

My K9 needles are currently at about 1mm in from flush on top; 2.5mm in on bottom. I'm running in a dry 40-50 deg F climate. I use the OD97T plug for an all-day spitting idle. If you use anything hotter, like an OS-p3 it will run lean.
