I'm using Byrons Gen2 30% / 11%. It was rather hot and humid. I also had 1 new plug that was bad out of the pack. The engine would die as soon as I pulled the ignitor off. New plug fixed it. I cant see using any othe pipe at this point. It really made it sing. But with a 15t it was wound out in like 20 ft LOL. The head looks massive but it is really lightened a bunch.

I ordered 3 #5's and 3 #6's. Down to 1 5 now. I have to say that the Dynamite 086 seems to always be my fallback pipe. I just cant go wrong with it. And for the price. I do want to find a good price on the msr 1005 pipe though. Just to have in the arsenal.

When you guys start to see these modded Extechs I promise you will be blown away. The sound is from another world! My year old break in tires were thrown right off the wheels!:sneaky:

Are there vunturi sets for the extechs? I would think a restrictor would be the way to go. Especially with soooo much power on tap as it is.

At the Tiltyard in april when i did the testing with Andrea. I got 10:30 in buggy and 12:30 in Truggy. Now that its hot and humid, I can 9 with buggy and dont know about Truggy yet. I will know next week in WV :)

It rained out every day that I was there. I am going to be in Charlotte off and on for the next 6 months or so. I am hoping to be there during the Worlds. I would love to marshall that! I wanted to race the warm up this week but I couldn't go there for work and then race 5 days! LOL. I am hoping to catch a club race there.

wow those are definitely good numbers... I know Ed's dyno reads lower then XRC's, just like Adam's does... so 1.8 is very stout for sure... What was the torque of the motor ? and is there any chance of posting some graphs ?

Maximo, It really sounds like you need to brake down & pick up a extech! I haven't yet but just from seeing them run in friends cars I'm SOLD without any numbers! I'll be picking one up very soon myself! :sneaky:

As far as I know the Full Mod version is only available to Team Drivers so far. I am sure they will be at retailers soon. But honestly not very many people can truly use the power that these things put down. Get trhe Race tuned version now and don't look back.

There is most definitely such a thing as too much power !!
I have a 2.4 HP 87 oz/in modified Picco P3 28 that I sometimes run, and I can most definitely say there is such a thing as too much power... I really cant complain much about control as the tires never have enough traction for going fast LOL , and if by any chance the tires do gain good grip the clutch just starts to slip, by the time I am near the end of a tank the clutch is so hot its slipping like a mofo.... by the time I run 2 or 3 tanks the bottom end goes completely dead as the shoes have now melted thru and my clutch springs are starting to snap causing my shoes to start hanging up into the bell..Sometime during tank 4 the clutch bell bearings grenade sending my CB into a fatal collision with my spur gear.....:D:D:D IF the modded .24 is making 2.3 HP then its going to be an absolute animal of a motor, better stock up on clutch parts, as your going to need em !!!!!!!!!!!
