Do you have a website? Where do we order parts?

tony montana 05-27-2010 01:00 PM

I dont know the exact price, but I was told it was gonna be quite abit cheaper than grp was charging. Awseome deal since its the same engine basically

PowerHouse 05-27-2010 01:14 PM

I will have them in stock in a day or two and I am going to be running an introductory rate on the moddified versions to get these back out on the streets. Get in touch with me for the pricning on both stock and modified and I also will have the pipe combo's available as well!! With the new changes on these, they will be even better than the originals with a lower price point. Thanks guys!!

Dealers

Well at this moment you can get the engine from,Waldorf Rc,Amain,Power house and a host of other dealers.

You can also go to the TQ Racing.net sight and buy the engine there if you cant find it,I want to see you go to one of our great dealers.

sluggo_sx8 05-27-2010 04:45 PM

I got a brand new GRP tuned that has been hiding in a friends motor box. The only prob is it needs HSN orings. Found a guy on flebay with the needle and orings but I was wondering if there is another oring I could use? maybe one from a hardware store may work?

We still have a few of those GRP needle o-ring kits left over from the GRP days, if you can't find anything else that works look in the "Engine Parts" section of our website. Part # LOSR2021

A fellow racer wants to run 20% in his GRP engine...what is the shimming required for the 20%?

maxx90 06-05-2010 08:42 AM

grp

He won't need any additional shims. Just run it with what it came with.

He could run it just the way it is from the factory he only needs to add shims if he runs 30% and that would be one more shim to add. I run 2 shims on mine with the 30% just so it does not pit on the piston. If your friend is running 30% and he wants to run 20% he will have to retune the block. I run both the .21 GRP and .28 GRP. I run 6.0 venturis in the .21 for the buggy and a 7.0 venturis in my truggy.
Hope this helps!!!!!!!! :)

Hey guys I dont mean to sound like a dumb ass but I can not get my motor tuned right. I have a MR21 B01T with the magnisum head. Ok so I take it out today and run it for the first time scense break in which still isnt completly broken in all the way yet still has alittle metal pinch left in it. well what it's doing is before I put it on the track i warm it up for 2 or 3 minutes and get the idel perfect on it well so I thought the first heat race i run it for 6 minutes and notice about half way through the race it has a real high idel like so fast it wants to push me through the turns. Why is it doing this? I just cant seem to get the hang of tuning for some reason it seems like the longer i do it the worse I get. I have read every thing i can find about tunning and it doesnt seem to help me any. Can someone please help me or point me in the right direction to get help and help me when to know when to richen or lean the bottom end and top end.

J.Sears 06-06-2010 11:10 AM

I will figure it out thanks though.

I had the same problem with my GRP .28 tune-line, your MR21 B01T is the same as the GRP .21 tune-line take it to stock at 0.045 inch tops needle from flush going in the same for the bottom but from flush 0.045 out and for the idle it's 0.030 inch this is your best starting point. My .28 was doing it and it was to lean in the bottem very puchy and idled Hi Start with stock settings and you should find the sweet spot just hit the top needle still it run just under 190% and you should be good. :) Hope this helps

Block

Hi. does anyone know where I can get a GRP/Mugen Ninja MR B01 Block.

I think the front bearing spun , now no bearings will stay in :weird:. They just fall
out.

Otherwise, I guess I'll just make it a paper weight :deathstar.

I have a Magnesium head for this engine as well.

:sneaky:
