I had just got one of these engine from the to go at track. Man all can i can say is awesome as engine. i have the mario rusio tuned vigine. this guy got an engine sponser so hey never ran it but did break it in. i pissed alot of people off at the track cause they all wanted it. now i can see why. I also have enoguh parts to build this thing 4 times over i think and two cases and head all brand new. or at least that what i can see. we did not really go digging in his box of grp parts but they all all seald in the orange boxes and both blocks also to much stuff. But any way what springs are people running for an m2c2 for truggy with this engine? i had point .90 and .95 but i think i have to up it to get some rev or it could be cause this still has a lot of pinch yet and has not dropped all it balls yet.

Hi guys, I am now the proud owner of the much discussed "GRP Engines 21 tuned line" I have been reading a lot of posts here in this thread about people missing parts, specially the conrod for this engine ( LOSR2043 ) - whats the latest news in this old subjekt.. does any current available rod fit this old mill or do i just run it till it blows up ? :-)

If anyone could post a link to a conrod that will fit this engine i would be happy! :-)

run it till it stops get it pinch if it good for another one. I do not think you will find rod or piston anywhere. but if you need some seal and plugs I still got some spares left. im still running mine but once it goes it on to the alpha next

The Ascendancy G5 is the same engine with a silver head. You can contact Jason Anderson on here for parts or engines and pipe combos.

Guys

I have two Brand new piston and sleeves sets for GRP based engines. I also have about 20 plugs I can hook someone up with. Lastly I have 5 seal kits that are used to rebuild the engines and includes all seals.

Another club member at my track got a barely used car with grp engine. It’s his first nitro track car and I’m gonna tune it for him. I was wondering what plugs does this engine take that it will run good and not strip the head button due to different threads.
looking for plugs that are available preferably in USA.
read a couple different things throughout this post.
For anyone that ran this engine help is appreciated thanks

I believe GRP made their own, as well as to other brands, but I can't recall which. Just look at the plug to see that the threads doesn't bottom out, some is threaded all the way and others isn't, make sure it seats well as well.
If nothing else maybe you could send a PM to Rody (believe he's called VS Racing here now) as his Tecnopower engines was based on this design, maybe he at least knows what doesn't work.

thanks for the replys guys, yea I found grp plugs on eBay in another country but I don’t think they are correct heat number. but was trying to find something that can order in the usa. It’s not my engine it’s a fellow track club member that bought it and I said I’d help him tune it but I think engine needs a new plug cause it’s been sitting. So I’m asking for him but yea thanks for info guys.
