Well crap and your right I have missed the curve here, the go engines are just so dang sexy, my problem with the major brands is just that, they're big and there isn't a single guy running a go here in Hawaii. All the OS and Nova fanboys and I hate it...

Well crap, I guess I missed the curve with go, I just have an issue with the big names because that's all ppl run here. OS and Nova families or it is automatically crap. I have been running an ofna 8 port with some success and its barely got any pinch... I guess ill pull out the RB if this 3 port swap doesn't work...
Please don't kill me if I someone already asked, but I did try the search function on this thread. I need 3 needle carb settings. I purchase a fresh pinched gxii and have it broken in but mid range needle had been removed during rebuild by previous owner. Have about 5 tanks thru engine at 180-240 degrees varying temps to cycle heat. I can not get engine past mid range point without quitting. I have the hs needle in about 1-1.5 turns in from flush and I have gone the other way too with the HS needle. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, it wont get passed a mid range throttle point. I think the mid range needle might be the issue. I am not a supper nitro buggy guy. Really experienced with heli motors with rings and 3 needle carbs. Hate asking for help, but need it!

Keen to know how it compares to the GX-5R (which I also had - was great..)
A racer here bought the G5T for his GT8 car since it was so cheap. Seems to be a good enough mill. About what you'd expect if you're familiar with GO engines.
I regret not buying a G5T when A-Main was clearing them out, because A Main eventually started blowing out GO parts (again
)... Con rods were are $11, entire 3-needle carbs for $25, P/S sets $40 or $60 for GXII version, wrist pins $.50, crank cases for $25, cranks for $20, back plates for $3, head buttons for $4, etc. Could have bought a ton of spares.
Saw a couple of pics of the carb online and set the mid range needle flush like mentioned. Bought the motor used from local driver with new bearing and a pinch. However motor case was cracked. Amain order on the way. What's the link for the company selling the motors for 130eu.
