Has anybody modified one of the GXII's? I put one of these little monsters in my GT8L with an Ofna 086 and it plain rips! Would be interested in what kind of power an engine modifier could pull out of one of them.

As mark just pointed out, the GO company seem to think their new and latest design is very powerful so why would it need any tweeking...lets here what the experts have to say, some modder can get substancial increases in power and economy out of the top of the line Italian motors so what could they do with a GXII... apart from double its price  |

as good an engine as the GXII is it ain't no MG66, but with some Massive magic it could have great promise. PM Massive to see what can be done to your GXII or any other engine for that matter.

glow plugs
Just ordered one of these:
Go Technology GXII-5RHO 5+2 Port .21 Competition Buggy Engine (Turbo Plug) [GOTGXII-5RHO_OLD] Wasn't sure which glow plugs to get so i ordered a few os p3 trurbo's? Will these work in this motor or do i need go specific plugs? |

Those should work out. Run 30% nitro. But the universal 'go to' plug for it is the O'donnell 97T.

Generally speaking the higher the nitro % you run, the cooler the plug. |
I went with the 2060 WN pipe and header. Good choice for this motor?

I have not run one on a GO so can't say how it would be, my friend on the weekend tried one on an Alpha and didn't like it.
Did you buy it new?..i see them on Amain and they are $30 dearer than the whole GXII 5 HO   All the GO engine users will tell you the same thing, GO 2072 pipe, they work well on most of the taiwanese motors. |
+1 on that Craig. The EFRA 2072 from GO is hard to beat. Plus it has the meanest bark to it when you give it a nudge :sneaky:
