Sounds like heat swell causing blow by ..

I heat cycled the engine to break it in.

The 086 is different to the 2047

I prefer the 086 personally . The 2047 makes more HP up top and is better for high speed runs. The 086 is a nice all rounder , but you can change that with longer or shorter headers.

Personally the 0801 and 2072 rock my world the most

Massive, do you have any insight / comments on the new Go turbo plugs? have you had a chance to run them yet?

Gizmatron 05-08-2009 04:15 AM

Just fitted my new GO 2072 pipe..looks very nice indeed! naturally now I've fitted it the rain has returned..maybe it will just be a shower or two..

my little GO

i getting giddy. Cant wait tell i get my motor back from RACE FACTOR. Ive been placing 4- 5 in my qualifiers and if i make the main its been hell can i only get about 5 1/2 min of run time out of my mach 427. when i get the GO back ill be in front for sure. oh about the clutches i just had nightmare hell with them. i ditched the losi clutch and messed with a WErks THAT SUCK , BUT I THINK WITH TIME I COULD GET IT TO WORK I WAS JUST MISSING A WASHER. know i am working with a mugen and its great i actually can clear everything at 1/4 throttle instead of hammering the throttle, LIFE IS GOOD real good

malik 05-08-2009 01:47 PM

The werks clutch is awesome but hard to use at 1st, but when you get it right its the bomb.

leapinglizard 05-08-2009 02:32 PM

well if i could get some help

i would run it i think i was missing the washer that goes behind the flywheel. when i would thightn it down to flush it would be all the way tight no play when i made it loose the shoes melted lol help could make thing good. i got it at the track from one of the expert buggy guys it was maybe not all there

22Racer 05-08-2009 05:05 PM

The Losi clutch is very good when setup properly.

the werks

i thought it would act like the slipper clutch on a 1/10 electric but who know .i went with the mugen three shoe fly wheel with max life aluminum shoes and 1.1 springs Robinson racing bell. and i can drive know its amazing

has any one had this happen to them? one of the cooling rings in the center of the cooling head broke off. whats strange about it is it broke off perfectly round. all around the head in one exact piece. I will post a pic later. it broke away from the cylinder head completely around and is still sitting there. there are no nic's on the outside of the cooling fin where I thought some thing hit it causing it to break.:weird:

HaulinBass 05-09-2009 05:58 PM

how tight is your body around the cooling head?

22Racer 05-09-2009 06:19 PM

We broke a head fin like you said, the body was too tight around the head. On other brand motors I've broke the top fin off but never on a Go.
