no, im still running 1.0 springs in my clutch. i think i did change to a different type of alum shoe though.
anytime i try WOT on the box, or on the track it dies. idk what is causing it. Remove HSN completely from brass reciever Flush the HSN by blowing into the pressure line Clean the needle and replace Whenever an engine goes from rich to lean like this its usually a carb obstruction . Cheers MM |

Now on to Modded mills, the guy who is getting his mill modded should have an idea of what he wants out of the particular engine. He should communicate wether its going into truggy or buggy which pipe he will be using ect to who ever the modder is and then the modder should know which route to go with his work. Massive Mods I am shure is awesome just look at peoples sigs there are lots of guys on here with MM on thiers. Speaks for itself, I want to try 1 of his my dam self. I am happy with my PTM. And Powerhouse knows his stuff to I have seen his work in action. Before I die I will have 1 from everyone LOL. I even had a AB mods P3 .28 back in my MT days.

Whoa !!! - Wish I had plastic bags like that lying around my workshop :)

i just found out i have a leaky front bearing. it looks like its leaking fuel...are there ramifications for leaving it like this? or can i keep running the motor without it really messing anything up.
|
Did it leak while racing it or as it sat during the week? If you leave a Go motor with a pretty full fuel tank it can seep into the motor after sitting.

If its not alot you will be ok. But take the flywheel off and spin the crank with your hand and see if the inner race ONLY spins try it a few times if the seal doesnt spin along with the race the bearing is still okay. If it is the stock bearing that went through break in and has 4-5 gallons on it you may want to replace it. Have you changed your rod at 2-3 gal? What I do is break in run it to 3 3.5 gal strip and change to TKO's front and rear new rod and clips at least, you most of the time can get away with the factory pin. But if you have no leak symptems your okay for now but start getting the parts i mentioned, TKO's arent a must but are nice to have and really the same price if not cheaper than stock bearings so what the hell right.

Put it down to bad luck I guess. When you replace the crank get one of the new Gen 5 cranks. They slip straight in and do enhance performance. Massive Mods in Aus has them if you canīt get one local. http://www.massivemods.com.au/produc...roducts_id=106 Contact Paul Fey here in Auckland first. He may well be able to help you. |
Hi Grizz, showed Paul and Adrian at the race and they were surprised too:confused:Paul is going to get me a gen 5 crank.I`ll thro another rod and bearings in and let her rip again.I have a 5port waiting in the wings if this doesn`t workout.
