do you have a steady stream of smoke comeing out of pipe? if so, no worries. if not richen it up a smigit, mine runs about 240-245 (after 15 min hard run) and runs awsome!

right on, temp not really a issue with these as long as you are getting a steady stream of smoke out of exhaust! (unless you flip it over on the lid and runs wide open for 20 seconds and stretches conrod and discolors bottom of cooling head....LMAO) been there done that

Alcohol is the "fuel" in your jug of fuel.
Add oxygen and heat...............you get combustion.

A gallon of 30% nitro with 10% oil has 76.8 ounces of alcohol.
A gallon of 20% nitro with 10% oil has 89.6 ounces of alcohol.

That's a 16% increase in alcohol.

yep, thats what i thought! i use 20% now and get them on run time everytime!

30%= better performance
20%=longer runtime, cooler running

Well got my mg66 back from Rex (RW Modding) the other day and ran it today for the first time. Ran it around slow for 3 tanks only because it still had a good bit of mech pinch. Then started to lean it out. The Rex magic started to come to life after 6 complete tanks still just a tad rich temp 245 good smoke it was HOOKED UP pulling front wheels about 1" at the start of the straightaways.
13min run time with more in the bank.
I'll tell you what i am super happy. Running mbx6t 13t pinion 44t spur and plenty of bottom end. Novarossi ceramic bearings front and rear.

Thank You Rex
And Thanks to Bigmatt for the referral.

I also turned down some parts and replaced some.

Awesome... can you post up some sleeve and crank pics? I'd like to see Rex's magic on the MG66.
