i am most positive i have been running and tuning nitro longer than you think! not bashing you m freind, as you are trying to help, and is very well appreciated my freind, BUT, just cant geter to tune! there is nothing you can advize that i havent done already...lol, so whats the problem....LOL

buy a GX motor and you wont have that problem...Remember it is a 3 port so it doesnt have the top end that you MAY be trying to reach(thus creating a lean bog) have you tried running both needles super rich( not four stroke rich) but rich to see if it still does it even if you have crap for power lol....if it still does it then there IS a air leak some where!(I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY)...:nod:there is a leak somewhere if it does it with a SUPER rich setting;)

exactly!...i bet its the FRONT bearing is no good on that particular model and is giving an air leak just enough to get a lean bog when the tank doesnt have alot of pressure in it:nod:

YES THE ROD WILL FIT ALL MODELS!..21,25 AND 28....the reason why he snapped a rod is cause he DID NOT break it in right OR PRE HEAT it while it still has LOTS of pinch!....when a motor is new(regardles of the brand) you want to ALWAYS pre heat the engine before you run it because when fired cold you are just abusing the hell out of the rod, because the piston is still trying to form the sleeve!.....;)

ima learns ya, ye old GRASSHOPPER lol:lol:....just an inside joke!...we all learn something everyday with RC cars and NITRO engines...just cause you have ran nitro for 20 years DOES NOT make you a great tuner!...and im not trying to be mean im just stating the truth about people in general....ive had to show and tell COUNTLESS amounts of guys who have ran nitro for 20 years but have gone through 100 motors in those 20 years:lol::lol::lol::lol:

deadmancourt 10-03-2010 10:00 PM

it would be close though, you could see whats wrong and then he can re-tune it a little for his area ....

inferno13 , i know one thing, GOs do tune different than most engines, i usually play with the needles in practice when i get a different engine to see what it does, you might need to spend some time just messing with the needles. OR idk if this has been mentioned, but what plug are you running??
