SCURR: I was having an issue with my buggy slideing around on the rear end, found a big part of it was my center diff had run dry. You may need to check your diffs for oil.

RMF: I use a GO T6 plug, but most of the guys swear by the odonell 97T for run time and life of the plug.

MAGPIE: Great day yesterday mate! has the young fella shut up yet after his first day at the track:lol::lol:

RMF avatar looks like Mr Savoya's buggy body ;)

Ed,
I'm using the 2072 that came with it. Once I switched out the shock I put in a 99T plug and it didn't really run that good until it was warmed up all the way. I think I fouled the plug (97T) by babing it with only one shock. The 97T definetly runs better.

Yes, I used to run OS p6 and P5's, untill found Odonells were much cheaper, I did find tho that after using OS the Odonnels don't seel propperly, so I recomend sticking to one brand plug once you have started ussing em or get a new button if ya want to switch to Odonel plugs.

You may be lucky if only used OS for a short time but I was using OS for quite a while before trying the Odonnels and was getting air bubbles around the plug the very first time I switched types.

If the idle don't rise at all when doing the pinch test, is the idle gap to small?

You sure ?
May be so minute a difference you hardly notice it, in that case you are pretty close, but slightly on the low side and lean too.

If your sure tho then
Possibly yes and lean bottom too.

I need more info tho !

How long untill it dies from when you pinch it ?
Is engine cold, warm or Hot ?
Cold being just started, warm being been running few minutes while testing pinch time and rev up, hot being done at least a 1/2 a tank of running hard.

Tigergutt 09-28-2010 04:58 AM

It dies around 7 sec.
Engine 'warmed' up for 1 minute.
Can't really hear any difference in the idle.

In that 7 sec does it slightly change in the first 2-3 sec and then carry on for another 4 before dying and how high is it reving in that time ?

Does not change at all. The idle sounds a little low.
