Yes any vids from the NZ nats Grizz would be sweet.

I remember the conversation about it I just thought it had been done and posted and I missed it. I'm excited to see it.

i have tried everyhing you can think of with this GO.21 GEN 5.5, and still geting lean bog. very very very frustrated with it, RUNNE is suppose to be sending me updated carb rebuild kit but havent heard back from him after i sent my addy to him? also asked him to send long needle? after having issues with this engine, kinda leary about trying the GX series out for next spring! or the mg66, unless they have a killer return policy! or warranty of some sort. ive never had to fight with a engine this long, im not a quit'er (fighting with it for 6 months) but this is getting alittle rediculas. i see im not the only one having these problems! with this engine in my truggy, does not even make it fun!!!

no you are not the only 1 but you guys with the problem are running older motors!...soooo...im thinking you are chasing a tune on a motor that could very well have 1 of the following problems and you dont know it:
1.needs a new FRONT bearing cause that could cause an air leak and give you issues
2. the seals for the carb are bad...which you are GOING to try.
3. just slightly out of SPEC conrod...WILL give you tuning issues if the conrod has allittle bit of play on the crank pin.
4.if you tighten the carb pinch bolts too much too many times it can deform the case where the carb goes on!(thus creating an air leak)
5.loose head bolts or leaking head shim(just an option)lol:D

How many tanks do you run before the lean bog issue?

oh my god im a idiot cause i could have said this ALONG TIME AGO!....make your fuel PRESSURE line shorter!(if it is like 12 inches long)...just saying cause ive seen LONG pressure lines;)...what is happening is when it gets past half tank the the pipe pressure has to try harder to keep constant pressure!....or wow i jsut thought of this also as i was typing: if it is already pretty short(like 5 or 6 inches) than make it longer cause the extra pressure that the pipe is pushing can push too much air into the tank and through the lines(thus maiking it lean bog)...i usually run about 8 inches of pressure line

DUDE YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG!...SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE THE BOTTOM TOO LEAN TO HIDE THE BIG IDLE GAP!...OR YOU ARE STILL LEARNING HOW TO TUNE!....IF IT IS HAPPENING ON THE FIRST TANK THEN IT IS A USER ERROR:nod:

It's very hard to diagnose why and what fors online, All we can do is throw idea's from experiance in the past and hope its what your experiancing.

It's very hard without seeing and knowing your set up etc...and hearing and feeling it for ourself.

I myself get frustrated when I read these problems that someone has perserveard with for a long time without success and wish I could be there in person to suss it out.

The only time I ever had a Go lean bog on me was when it was the old red head 3 port race spec. never got it fixed but I am running the gx5 and the gx 7 and both have yet to bog once and the 7 has TONSSSS of fuel through it.
