Yeah i had .7 down at first, but ended up putting .8 because i wasn't 100% sure and .8 seemed like a nice round number.
It leaves the LSN just a little rich, but when you lean the top end for max performance the bottom end is automatically leaned a little too, and will then end up pretty close to spot on. Just re-visit and fine tune the bottom once you have the HSN were you want it. |

Hey Sriley, I was having the runs great until half tank then lean bog and idle issues and I was stumped.(My Go 3R ). High speed was to lean, low speed to fat, idle gap open to far. This is the place to look for good info on the Go for sure.I
I was all wrapped up in my stupid Revo yesterday and did not get a chance to see how you finished.I did watch most of the Amain but did not see the end. Some how I did not finish a single qualifier in S Buggy or MT yet pulled out the win in both in the mains.I think I should play the lottery this week:smile: I saw you wrenching on the Revo. I had a DNF. I broke my rear chassis brace during one the qualifiers. I put the aluminum one on and it was okay until somehow the screw came out and jammed up the drive line. :flaming: Yeah you should play the lottery. |

Well guys I finally have the cash in hand and contacted deadman. He's got the GX5R combo and a bumpbox set-up for me just trying to run down my racing buddy with the credit card so I can make the payment. I'm really excited about it but I'll warn you even with the research I've already done I'll still have a thousand questions. I really wanna show my buddy's with Werk's and Nova's that Italy isn't the only place that can make an engine! I'm going to borrow my bro's Comp Heat to break it in with. Then I'll just have to go hairdryer after that. I really don't wanna mess it up so any tips are appreciated. I've already printed the stuff on Grizz's site. Oh, one more thing I still have a little over 1/2 a gallon of A-main 25% will it kill me to break in on this? I know most people say run in with what you race but it would really be convenient if I could. Anything you think I newbie might overlook just let me know. I've done the homework but there are always little tricks.
Thanks, Rich |

Just plan on taking 2-3 days to break it in. Its excruciating painful to break them in. Also make sure you have a bump box with dual 775 motors. I had one with dual 550's and it needed alot of time with the heat gun before it was loose enough to start it up the first few times. With dual 775 motors, you will only need to heat it up some before your first go round.

The Comp heat will get it over 200 so I should be good to Go! Thanks for the feedback!

I think half the fun is the verbal jousting and pun's, intended or not, that GOs along with the brand name. Home run to whoever brainstormed that up. Everyone remembers Go! "Look at that thing GO!" "There he GO's" "Man those Go's Go like crazy" "GOing.... GOing.... GOne!" Sorry.... It never gets old to me.
I saved some prime real-estate on my new body for my stickers. Right on the hood! |
