RETRO RC, Tried that pipe on Sunday. Not discernably better than the Dynamite 086 I have fitted. Seeing I already have the Dynamite I don't think the extra expense of a new 2047 would be warranted at my current level of racing I will spend the equivalent amount on beefing up my XUT a bit more for next season with some of the new "Team Kit" parts from the Bandit.
I will drop that pipe off at the shop on Friday. Thanks for the use of it buddy

Don't buy the after run oil, you can get some marvel mystery oil from the hardware store that will last much longer. Also i would stay away from the alumn. servo horn. Alumn. servo horns and alumn. geared servo's never match up because of tolerances and over time it will develop a lot of slop. Also buy the o'donnel 77t plugs instead, after doing that you may be able to save up and get a better servo.

I was just about to order a turbo button and Os p3 plugs for my Go .21 when i saw your post and just wanted to know if you recomend the O'donnel plugs just because of cost or performance ? And also, im thinking about getting the GO .25 6p for my next truggy, is that a good choice or should i just stick with the .21 ?

yea definatly save your $$ and get the Ace RC for steering you ll save your self money on replacing the one you ve got on your list when it breaks, 12.5kg of torque will do very well and last much longer.

In regards to the truggy engine, I think the .25 will be an excellent choice. I'm using a .28 in my truggy with a dynamite 086 pipe and it's a power house. When it dies I will be replacing it with the .25 for sure. A little less power can't hurt, if anything it might be easier to drive...and the extra fuel efficiency from having less overall displacement also can't hurt. I haven't really messed with any carb inserts yet but if somehow I can get 8+ minutes out of the .28 and find a good clutch setup and the right spur/clutch bell combination I may end up with another .28 when this .28 dies but otherwise I think the .25 will be an awesome engine.

It is argued by most that the Ninja .28 engine is one of the 'best' truggy engines available and I think a few pages back there was a post made by Maximo? showing a dyno graph of a modded Go .25 alongside a dyno graph of a stock Ninja .28 and they were very very similar. Of course the modding helped the Go .25 but that just goes to show that it is a definite contender.

Hi All,

I'm looking at getting a GO-Tech Engine and pipe combo' for the new TM M1B-TURBO I'm getting and would like your advise on which to get.

Tracks will be short to Medium. A ROAR legal combination preferably. I figure with lots of bottom end power.

What do you think?

Also where to buy? I live in Davenport, Iowa U.S Anywhere close by or online?

Thanks for your help.

British,
7 port for sure in the M1... the car will handle what ever acceleration you need.

I ran my Go 5 at a state indoor race this past weekend It has 2 going on 3 gallons ..I installed a o86 pipe & turbo button .. It was the first time trying this combo ... Wow what a diffrence ... The layout is super tight lap times are around 14 sec for truggy the dirt began to lay down rubber ..I had a 7mm restrictor and 20 points dailed out of the epa ... this motor would pull the wheels at will .. Yes It has some modd work done to it .. but fuel mileage was great power was awesome ... Its kinda cool to go down the straight away pull on the trigger and watch the front wheels yank off the ground ... the power band is very smooth when the wheels start to come up you know when it going to happen its that smooth and manageable .... Thanx again Brian ... Im very happy with this motor I cant thank you enough
