Has anyone seen this before?

I am not familiar with that engine it may be a aftermarket tuned engine. But I may just not have heard about it yet.

Also the newer 5ports feature the same head cuts as the 7port engine that picture shows the older head.

Naz I have never used the 3 needle carb. did you havethe problem when youwere running the O.S. carb or only with the Go carb. You may need to adjust the mid speed needle a little to get the bog out. If it s lean bog or a rich bog it maybe in the LSN and HSN needle balance.m

Patience. Russell is wise enough to not release an engine for sale until he's had a chance to properly test it.

Glow plug help

Has anyone used the Merlin turbo plugs in these Go engines? My LHS just got some in stock but they look to be a little bit longer than the OS style turbo plugs at the tapered end past the threads. I'm not sure what effect this might have.

I run them in my GO 3 and 5 port engines and I'm very happy. Keep in mind since a turbo button has a tapered seat the length of the plug doesn't really matter.

I could get in to some serious scientific theory about wire core thickness, wire core diameter, plug bore diameter, coil turns, coil length, etc. but that would just take up way too much time.

Bottom line, the Merlin Plugs work great, are very cost competitive and Aldon has 50 years in the RC industry. He's been making plugs for many OEMs for many years.

I've been using the non turbo Merlins and they work fine. I just was comparing their turbo plug to the OS tonight and the distance between where the threads end and the taper starts is about double on the Merlin, that's all. If they work that's all that matters to me. For the cost difference there's no reason to go with any other plug. It's ridiculous how much the price of plugs has gone up over the past few years.

yea the price on plugs has gotten out nuts...ive been using the Nova and OD plugs, but have been thinking about a change to the Merlin plugs cause of the lower price...

Where to can I get the GO 2047 pipe? I looked at all the sites that carry the GO enignes and no one has this pipe? I really want to get this for my 3 port.

Thanks
