It seems that everybody is quiet busy to help you out, but no worries, I think your question is good and answers would be helpful for others as well

I will start and hopefully others will help..
At first, every Goengines user MUST read this
If we simply look, then most important things is make sure there is no air leaks+always warm up engine+always tune warmed engine+always tune for nice clear smoke, no smoke no good, too much smoke the engine will not show good performance+take some time and read this thread back there is some real diamonds, take out them and save them
Ok then we put rule that these symptoms are in race tune, not just bushing few tanks, the engine is warmed up.
lean on bottom and what will the car do???
I think firstly you will hear very fast machine gunning, the bottom end will be like crazy, there might be no smoke at beginning.
rich on bottom " "
I think it will be a lot of smoke and will be hard take off-too rich bogging, because of too much unburned fuel, it will be so bloooberry sound....
lean on top " "
Firstly, it will be almost no smoke or even no smoke, in straight the car will try to rev up to the moons, or will sag power at end of straight, or right after straight in first corner it will bog down, like will hesitate to spool up.
rich on top " "
It will not perform after middle of straights, you will will hear clearly that at begining of straight is sort of ok, but then it not rise rpm anymore, it is like driving with 60% of power, probably with a lot of smoke, and sound will not be crisp, but bloooberry...
Hey Go gurus, please help with your comments, as I see, sometimes you need this kind of info fast, and it is impossible to read in one hour these lovely few hundred pages

I really think that this kind of "manual" will help to many many Go engines users, where they are not so shure for tuning and don't see what performance can really show this engine

Thanks Grizz
, thanks to all Go gurus
Can you add some comments above, little more in depth?
So we can memorize this page as one more detailed explanation about how/what/why...
By the way, yesterday I finished to run in one new engine from Australia with black head
...about performance....no comments...because I don't know how to say-WOW

it didn't explode, it didn't run 90mph, it didn't run for 20minutes, BUT it what I could not dream, even running with 60% epa, it was aggressive at bottom, but not too much to not handle, was so quick in middle and even with 13th bell in straight I couldn't hear the end...it was too balistic at very end, even in rich settings....
I don't know what Massive has done, but it is race engine for racers with no excuse for week bottom, or not correct power band, or not good top, or not enough run time or whatever...even price is fantastico.
, thanks to all Go gurus

well said , the important thing to remeber is when you get lost in your tune just reset the needle to flush and start over
once the engine is warmed up i always check my lsp just bu pinching the fuel tube this engine idles up 3-4 sec dies and this will put you in the ball park area
has been working a trear for me ,. i do this at the start of every event after i have warmed up the engine i usuall try and pput 3-4 tank through it drivibg it around

i think it would be very good combo in a truggy run 1.1's clutch springs w/ 7mm carb restrictor... should be a decent setup if thats all u got ...just my opinion

We have reviews on the site for the hand made versions. I am testing the Production model of the MG66 and i have to say that Go have done an amazing job ! i am totally wrapped with it. The hand made version was getting about 12 to 13 mins in buggy tank time. So we envisage the average user should achieve 11 mins tank time. But in saying that tank time has so many variables thats outside the engine its self. two people with the exact set up and engine can achieve different tank times from driving style. So tank time is really up to the end user. EG one of our team drivers was getting 10 mins no problem , when we went into some tune training he ended up getting 14 mins in his truggy. thats a big leap and it was down to tuning experience and fuel choice.
hope this helps

hi,
i need some advice about these go engines. its to put in a truggy (losi 8ight-t) i have a hard time choosing between the pro .25 6ports or the pro 21 5 ports turbo. i need good bottom and good top. just to give guidelines, i was running stock engine (mach 427) in my 8ight-t. bottom was perfect for our track (not a lot of room before jumps) but top end was lacking. i need good top end because our straight is 180 ft long with banked curves at each end. the mach was totally out of breath before the end of it.
also witch one has the best runtime?
thanks!

Has anyone heard from Mark at Massive? Sent in a motor and have been trying to get in touch with him. Has not responded to emails or PM's. Just wondering if he's out of town or just really busy.
