Because of our crap exchange rate at present, plus a little bit of greed on the part of the local hobby shops, a P3, 4, or 5 plug will set you back NZ$20

The GO plugs are around NZ$16 The local GO distributor hasn't got the customer base to bring a large number in, and therefore get the price a little lower. He does his best to keep the price as low as possible for us.
Local RB distributor is the same - RB#5 is NZ$18 plus postage.

I am buying O'Donnell 97T and 77T's from A-Main on special, and landed here they are costing me NZ$9 each (buying 10 at a time).

I have to investigate the new mills coming in. As I just let my good ol PTM 5 port go today. I was sad to let it go but a friend was in need and he has taken care of me plenty times over. That mill NEVER flamed on me once. Had about 4.5 gals on it. But I guess its time for a orange head, well I will use my new Donut racing head on all my mills from here on out. I think I am going to try the 7 port. Modded I am not sure yet probably not, around me I never see the 7 get to completly stretch its legs now. My powerhouse 3 port is just incredible kills the 5 port in runtime top end and is very similar in bottum end power. Mark at Powerhouse knows his stuff, I used the 086 and Caster pipe on it the 053 I will try this week and will be what I stick with I am sure as he mods all of his mills around the longer pipe. He actually told me to get the 007 but I dont need all that bottum so the 053 should be just right. All this with a 6.5 restricter.

No mate. The shipping is only around $7. The difference is our exchange rate. One NZ dollar buys something like .62c US at the moment, so everything from the States is close to double the advertised price for us. That's why the OS plugs are so expensive here. But thank you very much for the offer

Anyone know where I can get a Gen 4 conrod for a GO .21 silver head?
The engine is brand new but needs a rod, I have been told that I cant put a 5.5 conrod in it as the big end bushing is a different size to the Gen 4 bushing. I could buy a 5.5 crank as well but would rather get out of it as cheaply as I can.
Thanks

Hi Jeff, you shouldn't have to change it very much from where I set it at the other day. Those settings will get you racing a little rich, so it's easy on the motor. It's past my bed time now (yawn), so I won't go into answering your queries right now.
If in doubt richen top and bottom so you have plenty of smoke, then work back leaning it slightly in tiny steps from there until it's running good, but still with PLENTY OF SMOKE !!! Remember, NO SMOKE IS NO GOOD.

Carry out the spit test too if your not sure. If it sizzles off straight away - richen it. If it sits there and does nothing much and takes ages to evaporate away - lean it. If it gently bubbles and evaporates away over a 10 second period - it's pretty good.

Any help on this guys? Is a plastic carb insert OK?
