sorry for missing that one. I cant give you an answer re why it happened to you twice.. thats really weird. I can say that regardless of what engine brand, clips can, and have been known to pop out from pretty much every brand of engine, so its not something unique to your situation.

hey there, thinking about getting a new engine for my new buggy. I have decided its going to be a GO which one I dont know get its going to be the 5 port or the 7. (the 5 might be a good choice for the small local track)
My question is how easy are these things to tune. I admit im not the best at tuning so I just need to know what are they like to tune. Do they constantly need tinkering or do they hold tunes quite well.
would the PARIS RACING TUNING GUIDE work here ?

I can say that from personal experience they are very easy to tune and hold their tunes for quite a long time. I've noticed my 5 port has been more consistent with the introduction of the Blue Dot fuels from MassiveMods, not to mention much more power.

If you're running a buggy, the 3 or 5 port will do you more than fine on most tracks. My 5 port in the Truggy has the legs of most other engines out there, and more than some. Bottom end is very snappy with the FEMCA 0801 pipe also, however I am yet to try the latest release exhaust but look forward to doing so.

If you're running MassiveMods Amain or C2 Blue Dot you should have no issue cracking 10 minutes in a buggy, we have been recording rediculous runtimes in our Truggies, the highest so far has been a little over 14 minutes with fuel left over. Those were done with the 5 Port.

New Bearings from massive Mods

I thought I better give you guys the heads up on the new ceramic bearings from Massive Mark.Not only is his service second to none and a gentleman at that, but he fitted the bearings up for me, but before he did I had to have a feel(of the ceramics that is) and talk about bloody smooth,just bloodly beautiful.He also check my motor out for me and said that all was good but replaced the rod and gungen as well as I thought while its apart.why not.Anyway a long story short,put motor back and the thing purrs like a kitten but turned into a tiger,Those bearing are great!A must for all go engines.

If you have a small tight track, then the 5 port will blow your socks off. All you will have to do is gear it and clutch it so it´s controllable :D
The 3 Port R Spec would be great for a tight track too. Plenty of bottom and very smooth power band. Run either the 0801 or the new 2072 pipe and you will be very pleased. If you go ahead and purchase a GO, PM me for break in details and some helpful info. :cool:
