The modded engine is gone now but being from the same bloke who done the MG66 & Godzilla I reckon it would be a good product. I wouldn't mind getting another GO Engine as I have the pipe already, not in a rush though as the Godzilla is still going alright, could get a pinch done if needed as well, its a good engine.
The MG66 might be the way to go next, or get in touch with the engine builder.

I spoke with "Robust" maybe two years ago.
He was absolutely certain that engines that the customer could just plop in the car and fire right up, was the future.
He was completely disinterested in racing or any such performance related items.
He stated his interest in piston rings and engines that were ready to start.

Yep, that was Mr Robust Chen's somewhat "tunnel vision" direction for GO Engine Co despite plea's from many involved in marketing their GX range of products.
Darn shame, as the earlier GXII and GXII-5RHO engines from the drawing board of Simon Yii were great affordable products with a big market worldwide.

Dave (Palebushman) - glad you've found a source of spares etc. Your very lucky to have a couple of MG66's up your sleeve. Spectacular engine - enjoy mate :).

Yes Shane those were good times and we did ok with the GX1 and GX2HO range, my all time favourite was the GX7R, I loved the power of the MM66 but always had tuning issues with mine, then the GX2 came along... with some odd carb issues even before release they reverting back to the GX1 carb, they were very smooth, then the 3 needle came out but had material issues...poor oring fits, insulators coming loose but mostly ran well if you could set them right... the motors themselves were great, very light and low CG, good power with the mighty 2072 pipe.

Im still running my last P/S set in a GX2 that GO gave me throught you Shane, might save it now in honour of the once great company.

No such luck Dave....
A friend's FB account got hacked and my account went down in some "collateral damage".
I've got a new FB account (and Messenger) up and running now, but just email me for sure.:)

I knew their competition engines were going nowhere, but they sold rtr engines in thousands per month so it seems odd they couldn't keep the company going with those sales. Do you know if the factory is going to keep producing these engines under another brand or if they ceased operations completely and shut the factory down?

We still have GX-II RHO and GX-II Plus in stock as well as numerous 2072 pipes, RTR pull start engines and a "bunch" of parts.

The RHO is still a great engine, maybe the latest "good" engine from GO, you just can't beat it for the price.
Will pm you Re RTR engines.

Got it!

I sent another email, but I'll just repeat it here. You said the part number was wrong, but that was the number I used last time so I just want to make sure it's the same engine/version as last time. You know, just to be sure!
Thanks
