will g the turbo button will increase both your run time and power across the rpm band, and maybe a change to the 086 pipe might help to tame down the bottom and make the car more drivable getting even more run time...

this is the plugs im using in my Go turbo engines http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/2350...

hope this helps...if you cant afford a 21-5T maybe you may look into a 21-3 and order a turbo button for it, this would be a killer engine for a killer price...:nod::nod:

I finally got the 053 and 086 for my 5P turbo. I was going to test it at nitro pit but it got rained out this weekend:cry:.

But I did able to run a comparison at some undeveloped home lots by my house. I started with the 053 and once I got it warmed up, I started to tune it in. The jammin broke loose on awesome damp clay. I can see it will have no problem making jumps coming off corners but it ran out of steam on long straights. Not going to be the pipe for the Pit. I also timed it. It ran out of fuel in 8 minutes. The temp was 210 and ended at 236 on empty.

I changed to the 086 same settings and the thing would bog down low. I continued to lean her out until she was able to get off without hesitation. BTW, this was 6 hours leaner on the needle. I topped it off with fuel and started to drive it. Good bottom as I able to still break loose the tires (new PL step ups). Great top end. It ran for 11 minutes, unbelievable! The temp was 205 and ended at 235.

I can't wait for the next race to see how it fairs with the other engines. Keep you posted.

Tom

nta01, thats sound slike a good way of testing, were you running the standard or the Turbo button, You will have no problem keeping up with anyone at the Nitro Pit. Also what buggy was that in?

Hey Massive, New web site looks great. Nice graphics and very user friendly.
Now that my new 5 port is broken in I´m thinking about a turbo head button. From what I have read here there is a definite performance increase from standard plug - yes ?

free2day77 12-04-2007 07:10 AM

is it possible to put a turbo button on the 3 port?

Rocket42 12-04-2007 09:12 AM

Yes the .21 sized turbo button will fit the .21 3port sport engine.
