Gizmatron i have the same experance with changing pipes i have quiet a few pipes now like i said i am pretty happy with losi pipes good run time in sane bottom end using the re 10 but for my new motor i just might have to get the new go pipe 2072 since its the best of both worlds :):)

leapinglizard if you like the losi pipes the re 11 would be a good mid top end pipe the re10 delivers alot more bottom end power but doesnt lack any mid or top end power at all :)
i personelly like the losi pipes they look good stand out ant are the write colour never look dirty or old :nod: if you werent keen on the losi pipes go for the go 2072 best all rounder |

i have been through alot of starter boxes and the one i like and is dam good value for money is the q-world one the cheaper one out of the 2 similar to the mugan box ... this starter box Q-world one is good cheap and starts any engine i have put in my buggy without any problems at all:nod:

Just fitted a GO 2072 in my mp777 buggy on a MM5 7 port with a 7mm restrictor..with 5000 oil in the center diff I can jam on the brakes and hit the throttle and it wheelies down our club straight...totally insane - everyone should have one :D

fine tuning questions
where should i start with tuning this 7 port. ive seen a few threads back how to set the gen5 hsn .5 lsn 1.5 Is the 7port the same or ???

Just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to Gizmatron, Grizz1, bigmatt, malik, and for sure, Mark @ Massive Mods for their help getting me on the Go tuning train!
Pretty much finished breaking in 1 of my 2 MM 5-Ports and all I can say is I see the beast lurking beneath the pretty package :eek: (as Grizz put it :nod:). The motor is butter smooth through out the powerband and even though I was taking it easy for break in I see this motor has some POWER!! I never lost faith in my Go's, just needed some help going in the right direction. Sorry if I missed anyone who helped. Thanks again, can't wait to break in the other one :nod: |
Okay first i know, dont tune for temps. but i gotta ask...
What is a reasonable temp range for the go sport 21 3 port with an 86 pipe.. im not seeking a exact temp just a range where they are commonly happy with. I know the sts was happy at about the 230 range, just want to know if this is a normal temp motor or one that likes to cook. example the os rg liked 290-310 by design while the novas i have worked with like about 195-210 and the werks engine i owned well i was just happy to see it run at all so i didnt temp it. It that was a rare and very short lived thing (still have it, it is untunable). |
i think befor i buy another pipe i will try the losi re10 pipe on my moded 3 port the re 10 delivers awsome bottem end power but for the moded 5 port i am going to purchase im not sure maybe 0801 will be a good balance :nod:

i have a grp 2053 pipe which i will also give a go just out of interest .... at times it seems that you always have more pipes and headers floating around than you do engines:lol:

Mattwoodcraft let me know how the re-10 does on the modded 3 please. I am looking for what to get for my new 1 I havent broke it in yet but the modder said to use a long pipe on it his suggestions were JP-1, 1005, 053, 2060. I will never in my life put a JP pipe on a go ever again I tried a JP-3 on my modded 5 and got like 1/2 runtime and weird mid range. I just like the look of the new Losi pipes and I am not a Losi fan at all "goes back to my T4, B4" days" You think the 10 would be better than the 11? If you dont have luck with it I am gonna stick with the Dynamite 053. Mainly i want to know about the band and runtime. I know the power is there, before mods.

yea no worries i will let you know im quiet happy with the losi pipes i have them both re10 and 11 no issue with run time on eaither of them and good price to i think
