Hi does anyone know if the SH 2060 pipe will work on a 7p .thanks
Other pipe i have is a nova 9901, rb 2045, sirio 2013, jp2.
which would work best in a hyper 9, I like a strong bottom but smooth, good econemy. also if none of these will work what would be the correct pipe.
thanks

I belive the 2060 is a midrange pipe well if it is thats what the 7 port calls for. Find the equivalent if you have it in your collection closest to any 053 and you should be okay. Go 2047 or the Dynamite 053 are what we reccomend.

I will look for you there. I will be running my xb8 in the buggy class and a mxb5 in the truggy. I don't know what the advantage of a long run time with the Go's will be because of the mandatory one fuel stop in the mains.

If you can try one, TTR/AE 2035 is very sooth on the 7PT. Running it in a truggy and I was very happy with it. Stock header. Pleanty of snot down low and she still sings up top. Partial throttle control in the corners was excellent. Very linear, not like a light switch with some setups. Haven't had a chance to try the 7PT/2035 with a short header yet.

ccumbe; I tried the jp3- jp4 pipes with my ebmods 5port.Ed rec. the jp2 with the 5 port. the jp4 was not that bad. the jp3 left it a little flat. what I am using now is a dynamite 086 the thing screams. You will notice the difference. I also have the 7 port that I put a 086 dynamite on. but after it's broke in I am going to try the jp-4 on it. the jp4 was suppose to make better bottom without sacrificing mid-high. worked like that on my 28rr axial, perfect match. I went with the dynamite brand because of the price(49.99) maybe less if you can find a used one, good luck.

your thinking of the old go carbs. once you read and figure out how to adjust it is the easiest carb to tune. I read through this thread, printed out how to adjust the different carbs. bam it's all easy. and they hold a tune all day long. also I would rec. sealing back plate and carb/pinch bolt. I do that with all my engines before I even think of firing up. just to make sure that after a few tanks there are no problems.

Go used the long low speed needle for a while and people struggled tuning it. The .25 uses the same carb and it will be one of the easiest tuning motors you have ever ran.
I never seal the backplate on the Go's, they are a nice tight fit.

None of the JP pipes work particularly well on the GO motors. Some are just flat and others don't offer the economy you should be getting from the motors.
Go with the Dynamite 053 on the 7 Port if you want to stick with Dynamite pipes (they are exceptional value for money). Best performance on the 7 is the 2047 pipe with long 0801 header IMO.
What do you think or have you tried the a JP3. I am running this on the 7p and the power is good but I don't have one of the recommended pipes that you guys are running to compare it to. Also what clutch set up are you guys running with the 7 or 5 port. I am running carbon shoes and 1.0 springs.
I find the VP Pro alloy or XRay 1.71 alloy shoes with 1.1 springs ideal on the 7.
5 Port I run the same set up, but if you want to tame it down a little go to 1.0 springs. People will disagree with these set ups, as their track surfaces and lay outs will be different. We have a lot of jumps straight out of corners and the tracks are fairly tight, so this works for me. I have never used carbon shoes for racing. Alloy gives better bite and they last much longer.

For all of you who've ordered from Massive Mods.
How long did your items sit in customs before it was released?
My MM5 7 port and the parts to rebuild my 5 port have been sitting since 8:52AM on 3/27, it'll be a full week tomorrow morning. I'd really like to have it before I'm supposed to race next weekend.
