you probably have an air leak if you cant find a tune.
i dont think its a air leak as it was running good with the 053 pipe on wll set back to factory and start again .

If you are completely lost with the settings, go back to LSN one turn in from flush, and HSN flush with housing. This will get you running with either pipe, then fine tune from there  |
JP-1 on a 5 port turbo was awesome get power bottom to top and good mileage 8 1/2 running 210.
I have a jp2 and 3 pipe. Are either of these good for the .25 6port?
both are very good, sound nice to, less runtime than the 086 though
I used the 086 and got less runtime with it and has less power.
i never said the 86 had more power. But i do get better runtime out of them than the JP pipes, but they are still very good pipes no dought. The JP pipes and the JP3 mainley have a chamber design that doesnt have the preasure return that most pipes have, meaning that not as much fuel is returned to the cylender after exaust has entered the pipe, it pulls fuel from it instead of returning it= less runtime, when you go from a JP3 to a 86, you have to lean it out so much 1 being the 86 is a bit shorter, and 2 it pushes more fuel to the cylinder, allowing you to lean it out and produce top end power in a nut shell, the 86 will smooth out the bottom and make it more linier or softer and gain topend, the JP3 has more grunt on the bottom compared to the 86, but back to back runs have shown me the 86 has more top, and for my engines better runtime, 10.30 out of a PTM 5 port turbo with a 086 and 9.45 with the JP4
But the bottom line is he has a .25 6 port, IMHO he doesn't need a pipe that makes more bottom, something to keep it smooth and under controll with some added top and runtime, but this is just the way i like the feel of my engines to be, I'm faster on our outdoor track with smoother bottom. Just my 2 cents |

I've been running the five port for two months now. I took it to Silver State and ran it in the truggy and the buggy. Since then, I've been running it hard everyweekend. I'm using the Dynamite .053 pipe and the p3 turbo plug. Today at Leisure Hours indoor track, I ran it in my buggy and got eight minutes of runtime running at 200 degrees. I'm using the 7mm restrictor. Right now, I'm at the two gallon mark on this engine. It still has good pinch. I'm very happy.

should I use the restricter the .25 came with while break in? And can you give me a break down a restricter sizes and what they do? Thanks for all the help:blush: |
