would this motor work ??? the 3port in the 7port case with a turbo head ? I am just wondering if there would be any problems with clearance or stuff not working right (inside case ports for the ports on the sleeve...)

just a thought...

the thread itself is 6.19 mm, the area closest to the big part is 7 mm, and the area where your clutch bearing goes is 5 mm, what are you needing dimensions for, maybe i can help

I love my 3 port race, i was going to get a 5 port turbo for buggy, but the modded 3 port is kicking you know what:nod:, going with a PTM TEAM .25 for truggy:sneaky: running Tilted 30% and 086 on both engines, may test the Bullit 1005 on the .25 it should RIP

i've got a .25 marine Go Tech and i need a new coupler where the flex cable attaches to the engine.

i think im just going to pick up a bigger flex cable instead of trying to track down a new coupler

Ok, im too lazy to read through all these posts, but where do i find a dealer that have the 21 R spec 3pt engine in stock ? what plug is recomended for that engine runing 20% ? and what pipe works best for it ?

Ive been racing the 21 5P engine whole last summer with a Dynamite 086 pipe in my Hyper 8 buggy but this year im using it in a Losi 8ight -T.

This past weekend i ran it for the first time at the Lunsford gasblast here in Oregon and it ran pretty good   But, i would like to try the 3 port and maybe have the 5 port as a backup engine. So, any answers to my questions would be realy apreciated.

3 ports should be in next week:nod:

i would recomend 30% if you can get it, and for pipes, i have been running the same pipe on the 3 port since FEB 1st, the 086 offers enough bottom and really wakes up the top on the 3 port, My 3 port is modded but i used the same pipe before i did the mods, and i have always liked that pipe the best on it, it has enough for a small tight 13 second lap indoor track and when you go outdoors it has no problem stretching it's legs, For now I use a OS P6, we are testing some NEW turbo plugs, i will post more on them when i get a chance to run.

i really really liked the Vantage bottom end pipe on my 3R until it cracked. seem to have more of everything. But i didnt get a chance to really tune the engine with the 086 on it, as the pipe broke in warm-up

mugenb46 04-01-2008 09:30 PM

the only thing i didn't like about the bottom end or bottom to mid pipes were it made it top out to fast, and being modded those pipes made it hard to drive. with the 086 it has way more but still very drivable, and runtime:nod:

How are you liking the Tilted Fuel Brian?:)

mugenb46 04-01-2008 10:37 PM

 very good blend, it's what ive been looking for for sure, my old fuel ran really good in other engines but made tunning my GO's very hit or miss, the Tilted is very easy to tune with and the same power at less temp, 208 was all i could handle on the indoor track here at home, i normally run around 240 250 with the other stuff, should have no problem running those temps outdoors though, then Ile have to learn how to drive again lol i wanna see how the modded go runs at 250 with the tilted fuel, they are mean at that temp.

hi,
i have return from six month break from racing.
i have noticed that there is new 3 port race engine.
how does it compare to the 7 port (power, power band, runtime) and how does it compare to the other manufacturers top of the line engines?

anyone?

Is anyone running any RB MOD Go's on here? If so what do you think? What pipe are you using? Noticable power difference? Rick has been emailing me and helping me out, he actually pushed me toward the 5 port mod for outdoor this summer instead of the v-spec which was 100 bucks more. Best Customer service so far from any of the mod companies. +1 Rick B!
