I have a fully broken in 5 port that I am going to put in a turbo button. The engine currently has the stock thin and thick shims. Do I merely replace the button?

Got my 3 port today. I love that blue head. I noticed that it doesn't use the same composite carb as the 5 & 7 ports though. I also noticed that it didn't come with a carb insert. Was it supposed to?

I put in a Go 8mm restrictor from the set I also got today-man are these things sweet! I love how the size is laser etched on them.

there is no need to reshim the engine, just pop in the turbo button and maybe a lil retuning is needed...

hi all

I have a go .21 seven port and need to know a good pipe for it its being thrown in rc8 i would probably prefer a smmoth powerband from the pipe rather than loads of torque as some of the uk tracks can be kind of loose
and i am a cross over elec driver

any help is welcomed

cheers

Bluey

which ones do come with inserts?

mugenb46 11-29-2007 07:15 PM

5, 7, 25, 28 come with the 8mm insert

mugenb46 11-29-2007 07:16 PM

AK Driver, from what i hear this spring, i can't wait.

Rocket42 11-29-2007 07:35 PM

The sport engines don't include a insert as has been mentioned but the opening in the carb is 8mm. so its like having a 8mm restrictor in it. If you guys like the restrictor kits you will really like the new pipes.
