By using mis-matched parts you will never know if your getting 100% out of the engine or not.
Just go with what the factory put together as far as sleeves / crankcases etc. They matched those parts for a reason.....
I see, is the new 5 port (red cooling head with bigger crancase cover) have new sleeve porting, i suspect it use old 21-2205 p/s/c

Richard at Bellgate Distributors in the US will probably know.

They were releasing a Champion 5 Port with the old GX5R sleeve - whether that ever got off the ground or not I don't know.
Maybe it morphed into this new red headed motor you mentioned.

Anyway, seeing as we don't deal with GO any more for engines, I should butt out of this thread and leave you new fellows to it.
Probably the PC thing to do :-) :-).

All this talk inspired me to rumage under the worshop bench and have a clean out.

Most of these bundles will be all NIP, with a few used cooling heads and carbs thrown in.

Shipping from my location to anywhere in the US will be around US$12 for express airmail.
All prices shown in US$ for your convenience.
Payment via PayPal. Contact me via email please as oposed to PM on here.

Ah, come on Shane, just take those parts and build yourself an engine or two. You know, for old times sake. You know you want to.

Ha ha, no thanks Rich.
I got a great thing going here now and have moved on.

Hope you don't mind me flicking off a bit of unwanted / old stock on here.
It's not a lot, and not just for the US guys.

If it's an issue I'll pull it off. Don't want to rock the boat. Just want rid of it.....

Default Gx2+ carb

Newer gx2+ come with shorter HSN, factory needle settings is 2.5 to 3 turn out from fully close? LSN i believe flush/1 turn in from flush as usual

I have a GO25 3 port with some air leak issues.

Any tips for sealing the needles? Is this a common problem? No luck with green slime.

Thx!
