Last race Todd, most likely intentionally, planted a little bug inside my brain. So say that, hypothetically, a rather new driver would like try to out stock 1/12th scale next carpet season. Can someone give me... err, him... a high-level run down of what it takes to successfully run a pan car on carpet, having only purely Scale Spec and F1 experience?
I've read a number of 1/12th tuning guides to understand my F1 better this season, so I at least get the basics there. Tire truing is still a mystery. But I'm mostly looking for week-over-week maintenance / rebuilding requirements, as well as between-qualifiers tasks and checklists. A link to a good existing article would do fine too

Nate spends more time in the air than anything else. his sponsor (marysville bike shop) has told me they are going to try to promote him a bit more this summer season. he wants to go pro. I have told him to go for it and he has my full support. do what you love. he sure loves biking. Bob (owner of the bike shop and sponsor) has told me nate is the top rider on the team at mvsl bike shop. he likes riding the bowls and such but he is more of a flat lander/street style rider. lots of stair gaps (jumping down stairs) rail slides etc. he really excels at the street style. he is fun to watch. i went to mill creek bike night last friday and i was amazed how much he has progressed since the last time i watched him ride.

LMAO
Oh man, I'll have to tell you about some of my bicycle accident / fail stories. That big scar I have on my forehead? Yeah, fell off a bicycle when I was like 7, face first onto a road that was hard packed dirt with large, sharp rocks. My grandpa put a bandaid on it to hide the exposed skull bone. No joke.
Ah, Poland in the 80's, it's a miracle I survived.

Just kind of spit-balling for next season, but would anyone be interested in doing a team-VTA thing within the scale spec class?
Two-car teams, realistic liveries with a points championship for the top three teams. Nothing serious here, just something fun to do within the Scale Spec class.
