The car looks sweet, and the engine looks sweeter, but the bedspread with the flower pattern looks the sweetest of them all!!!

Are you still running your G4 these days Razzor? What do you think of the new, shorter chassis and rear end this time round?

I feel like yourself and a few others have been around this car for ever!
Will be having another go with it this year, although not as much as I'm going to try some off-road this year. lol

Cool bud.

Im still running my G4S's and love them.
Will get a RS later in the year at the moment cars are still running well and is plenty fast for me.
Im concentrating on electric this year so only run gas at club meets and practices.
Mod is helping me tame the fingers
With the electric offroad worlds being hosted here in 2009 we also doing a lot of that.

I raced the G4S last Sunday, love the car ...

I am trying to put the Max Power SL3 in but the crank housing is too big and is hitting the break disc ...not sure what to do ... as I cant align the gears and get a good mesh without the break disc touching the engine

heard that those running ed trans:

1. higher chance of stripping the spur gears
2. clutch shoe worn out faster

are they true? if yes, what's the causes and any possible remedies?

lastly, will a wornout clutch shoe strip the spur gears?

I had the same problem with a Novarossi engine and smaller pinion gears. I had to dremel off the engine body to get some clearance.

I'm still using both of my G4s too, although not as much as I would like. One with ED, one without. Works good for me.

Some engine get close to the engine mount ears.
I ground my Nova a bit for the brake disc to clear, all other engines fit with no hassle.

far out ...

so you guys are suggesting i actually dremel into the side of the body of the engine? It would have to be at least 1mm deep ... wont that impact its structure and thus life / performance?

what i did with the G4s, was take out the brake disc, take some material off the diameter of the disc. use a bench grinder or similar. do a little bit at a time, dont get the disc too hot. id rather remove material from the disc rather than engine or the mount.
