may be your clutch is not set up right? too much clearance between the clutch shoe and the bell??

one charactristic on the red shoe is they will get sticky when they are hot, and lead to a false read!

I can tell you this much, red shoes last at least 3~4 times longer then grey shoes. I have been runing the same red shoe since the first day I got the MRX3.

If you go to a fastener/nuts and bolts supplier, I used Warren Fasteners in Charleston, SC. I buy all my screws in Bulk, 100 or more. I bought the hard/steel ones, every screw in the car, 100 each. I got every screw/set screw (all 21) that are used in the MTX3 for less than $60 shipped. Some items I had to get by the 1000(set screws). If you look in your area, I am sure you can find a dealer.

Default centex clutch

HI
I need a little help with my clutch
which one of the two thurst washers goes on first, the one with the larger hole or the one with the smaller hole. The instructions say to put the one with the large hole next to the thrust bearing ?
Any info woulde be great .
Thanks

try 25198 from ae, they are 2.6mm flat head but youŽll just need to cut their lenght with dremel, or LXFCK0 from kyosho.
all from tower hobbies.

B0649 Mugen part number for those screws and you can buy or order them from your local hobby store.

One of the coolest thing about any Mugen car is you don't have to use other people parts on a Mugen car and that includes screws, if you can't find a part please give us a call and we'll be more than happy to help you find it.
