who need brakes this thick anyways... ?
i should say who break hard with a one way in front? :sneaky:
i barely use brakes myself.....

i don't think you need to worry about braking with front one way, because by the time you get your car back, the front one way and/or the mid lay shaft will probably broke and removed, braking will not be a problem anymore. :sneaky:

Robbie, thanks for the detailed set-up. I appreciate it.

Will that set-up work with rubber tires too? I forgot to mention we use rubber tires too at our track(sorex 40R). Foams for Mod and rubber for stock.

Thanks again! It's great to have you here helping out us MTX-2/3 owners.

Why Try? 11-23-2002 05:35 PM

First run

Well i took my mtx 3 to its first race last night and managed to win the open gas final so yeah im very happy with its performance.
Very fast and quite stable even with the oneway.:D

JordanC 11-24-2002 01:09 AM

I just got back from the track.... I dorvethe MTX3 for the frst time, and absolutely loved it. Very stable, very fast, and oh my god.....the gearing was perfect!!!!!!

chookgb 11-24-2002 01:51 AM

hi was just wondering where the car feels better over the mtx-2 as my car is fast and its best feature is its stability so what flaws do you see with the mtx-2 that is better on the new car:(

Cartman 11-24-2002 02:55 AM

shocks

have any of you ever drilled the shock pistons
and does the VR1 reciever box fit?

Nytrochaos 11-24-2002 06:41 AM

well, after a little snooping........i found a half wrapped mtx-3...........I was up all night after that cleaning my mtx-2 and takin radio and engine gear out........unfortnately, after the season was done, i left the piston locked.......now that thing is not moving!!!......i think after breakfast im going to take my heat gun......that should do the trick, if not, its afteroil and the vice........

i have seen a mugen buggy receiver box mounted on one of the mtx3.

jason102276 11-24-2002 07:45 AM

to me the car just seems faster with the stock gearing and a year old stock mt-12 i was keeping up with and even catching 2 ntc3 and mtx-2 all with mod engines the stock setup was right on and the track was slippery parking lot that i had never run before
