If so IMHO the Nova is really as good as it gets. There are heaps of other engines around the 1hp mark but none so tuneable/reliable/indestructible as the nova.

You will need an FD49 Flywheel, and engine mounts to mount the new engine and a new linkage set-up (I can help you do this with diagrams etc) And a tuned pipe capable of delivering that power.

You seem overly keen on a front one-way, Im interested as to why?

I will be racing against possibly anything. If I put a 2 speed in I will be up against Pixxy R12's and JP 5 ports

In the single speed you can have any engine however most people dont have anything special in there mostly stock or the ocasional CV or CV-R was one RB X12 once but that was it.

Well with the front on way ive talked to a few of the faster guys at our track and they have them and swear by them, and I really havent used the brakes at all. Plus then I have no diff leakage problems and ill stuick the gears in the rear diff

Also would my eagle pipe do the job till I get around to getting something else. I really wanna get this engine but not 100% sure on funds, it can be had real real cheap at V-One S Racer's Secret Supplier. Mite do it at tax time.

Is the K-Factory engine mount any good, it sure looks cool

The pipe will be fine. The engine will be fine. Engine mount is probably pretty heavy. I like front one-way, I ask that question though as they can slow people down, they are definately a proposition for after youve got your head around a front diff.
Tax time Rox!

What happens at Tax time?

You get money returned? But how much?

Depends on how much youve paid and how much you can claim.

Look its probly ok maybe im exaggerating a bit, but any heatsink type mount is better than a std type.

Looks like i'll be waiting a little longer for the GPM gears, they didnt exchange them, instead they will talk to the manufacturer and they will decide what to do.

With the shaft drive car, apparently its the new Kyosho "superten" FW-05 (replaced the FW-04). Looks like i'll be upgrading my 04 to this new one my 4 stroke needs a new home

The special engine mounts work on any engine but if you have a pullstart "OS" engine, you need to use the spacers that you got with the engine so the pull starter clears the chassis.

I didnt like using the R style brake lever, a good hit to the side broke the servos horn clean off and lost brake altogether during a race! I prefer the S style setup.

Squizzy, im claiming soooo uch this year, my normal tax + my business with km's, fuel, rego, repairs etc.
