probly wouldnt even use those revs in a belt driven car
your compression will still be lower even if u move the spark plug up
coz u have a smaller chamber when the piston is at the top
just get a colder plug
experiment
u going to do this to your GS-15r? it will decrease its life

And a colder plug is for different temperatures i've been told, not different compressions.

Kyosho spends millions of yen every year on research and development, if you want more power, try a tuned pipe or higher nitro content.

Max hp is usually at around 12000-18000 rpm on the high horse engines but a fact is a fact...10% is 10% more horsepower and that is not at 35000 rpm.

Just bought a supra shelled v1s
Hi,
I live in sydney and just bought a v1s, should arrive tomorrow and the build will begin.
I have a few questions though. I have started to read through this MASSIVE thread but there is so much to read.
1. Any tips for when i build it? I read somthing about replacing the header screw because the 2.6x25mm was to small. i dont like the idea of tapping out a bigger hole as it is my 1st nitro car i have owned.
2. Painting the body- it is a supra- if you have any commnets about this or thoughts just tell me!!!
3. I will be using an old stick futaba radio and servo the radio is the FP-T2MR and the servos are FP-S28, they are about 12 years old! oh the reciever is FP-R2GS. is this going to be ok to start on? the hoppy shop told me it should.
4. anything else i dhould know or what ever?!?!?!?!
Thanks
Deane

Just make sure the radio is in good order. You wouldn't want to lose control of your fast v-one s.
Also, building the kit was fine, so you don't have to replace anything. When i was building mine, it was a bitch to twist in the rods. They will tell you to use a cloth and hold it with a plier, but don't, use a rubber glove or something. You will understand me once you get to that part.
The supra, hmm its quite a nice shell. Castrol or au Cerumo ?
Just paint the car whatever colour you wish. Follow the instruction manual and you will be fine.
Thought after building the kit, make sure you got the general idea for 'breaking in' your engine. So just first build your kit

got it '2nd hand' but the guy has never built it or touched it
it is the cerumo supra.
I was reading about the 'thing' that hits the brakes when it goes out of reception. this sounds like a friggin good idea, what is it called????
