Matt,
I just got another 300, my 4th, I think! I'm restoring for profit (I hope!) Do you know 1)What the white plastic material Associated used for the radio tray and other flat plastic parts is and where I can get some? 2) I have a radio tray but need a pattern for the other parts.
I don't think it is nylon, but some other plastic...

Assuming it is the same material as the electric 1/12 scale, I used white Kydex for a display car.

Thanks for the reply. The material I am looking for was before Kydex. It is smooth on both sides and has a sort of "milky" white color. Kydex came later...

I had the same material on the deck, but could not find much, the Kydex that I found at a plastics house was smooth on both side, and yes more of a brigh white vs the milky stuff. If you find something I would be interested in enough to do the top deck on the 1/12 scale car.

I looked for ABS on eBay and it all has a texture on one side like kydex. Not sure if it is ABS or not... I have an idea of how to test samples to see if they are the same or not. I guess Kydex would be acceptable and actually better, but I was hoping to use the original material....
