You should ALWAYS have the transmitter on first. but no, it is not true, but you may damage the servo as it pulls hard to the side and may hit the endpoint stopper thingy and KO advise you do not let this happen, I tested the failsafe and nearly tore the servo out of the car.

Yup. If you plug in the batts b4 the transmitter...the servos will twitch a little but then it won't function when the transmitter in on.

Ooops..
But taking Baxter comment (thank you baxter, that is healthy advice) bit contrary.
I guess you both right, it must be something on their "ICS" programming default.

Crashed, if your servo acts like that it would be a problem when attending a big race with tight schedule.
THe TX is very far from you and you cannot clip your shell completely from paddock.
Have you ever try to use ICS to change that?

You just explianed a problem I had, I thought it was the switch, so I removed it.

Pardon my ignorance...but what is an ICS?...

It is a hassle indeed...that's where a good pitcrew comes in handy...

You know, last night I spent almost 1 hour for "what happen to the connector?"
I think it was the connector, bit loose on the R113iP so replace it 2 times with new connector !!
On last minute before I throw this servo, I just realise that.

Now I must find some more "victims" so we can buy it "together"

Interative Communication System, there is a software and data cable to program the servo.
I hope i can program the servo when to turn left at what speed and turn right after hard breaking.

I believe your "handy pitman" is your wingman?
I got a problem with my wingman coz he is still faster than me so I can not tell him to do this and that.

Mark, series 2 this year runs all the way to November 21st ... brrrr!

For September there are 2 club races: 5th and 19th. Which one?

Yes, its the same. Note also that the average person takes 0.3 secs from the time the brain says to do something to the time it is actually done. Unless you're a top F1 driver (apparently they all have superfast reflexes) then you'll be hard pushed to beat the 0.1 (S9550) or the .008 (KO 2343) specs of these servos.

Your comment about the throttle linkage is absolutely correct. I suffered this when I changed over my engine from the old JP to the slightly newer Rody. What I found was that the Rody's full open is really microns away from the barrel touching the dead-end!

Guys,

I was also wondering if I should get KO Digis 2344 or 2343? I am leaning towards the 2344 servo with lotsa torque.. What do you guys think?
I've always liked the KO servos the most. I changed over to the S9550s only to save weight.

Yes, its true. I still use the 2343 on my MTX and the 705. Don't why but they do that (with both, the HRS and the normal receiver too).

When I was younger, as a student and it was already cold way back then!

On top of this, students could never afford heating!

Maybe the 5th, I'm not sure when my folks are coming over - 19th is a definate no. What comes after thaT?
Sunday 03 October, Sunday 17 October, Sunday 31 October 2004.

Sunday 07 November, Sunday 07 November 2004.

You can't get out now my friend ... plenty of dates to choose from!
