I had a close look at the pictures and it seems to me the cooling head is 90 degrees off. The cooling slots in the head meant for airflow over the plug are not aligned front to rear....
WOW! I hadn't realised that it was aligned for a certain direction Thanks for point this out I did take the head off to see if the liner was nicely run in.BTW: Are you going to the 200mm International @ MACH. I plan to make the trip - you'd better get some practice in

The bottom part is original - I just liked the look of the carbon for the upper plate
plus those Titanium screws 
(they are from Tamiya)

Becareful with the 3-Racing parts - the aluminum is very soft!
I half stripped a screw in the aluminium supports for the carbon upper plate and I wasn't using so much force Cheers, Mark.
