Just ordered a 710 and would appreciate your suggestions on what engine and pipe to use. Thanks.

I would suggest going with a novarossi, or contact 'palmaris europe', He should be able to help you out with a really decent motor. With regards to pipe, go with one that is from the same manufacturer, This is not law, it just helps as one may get a pipe that does not work with the motor.

I have a Novarossi NS12S3A1 and a Novarossi EFRA Legal inline pipe.

I hear that the motor screams. I will keep you posted though as the stuff arrives soon.

Depends on your budget but any Novarossi engine would be fine. Preferably the newer NS12 engine. If you require an easier engine to tune, try the OS engine. More of a bottom end engine where the Novarossi shines at the top end. Gear accordingly to take advantage of the engine you get. Torquey engine with smaller spurs and bigger pinions while vice versa for high rev engines.

For pipes, I would go with the Novarossi inline pipes (52606 legal or 52607 outlaw) or the NovaMega TP06 inline pipes.:nod:

Hey guys, what do you use to charge your receiver packs and your Transmitters?

You could use a wall charger and charge it overnight. But you could also use a dedicated charger.

Thank you for the link, I read the article and that sparked the thought off... I have a wall charger and some battery expert claims that a wall chager only gets the battery to about 80%, which is unfortunately not 100% or even 95%... I was just wandering...

Having a good charger is a long term investment. If you find that you need to charge your batteries on site at the track, having a fast charger is always good.

There are a lot of chargers out there that are good. A charger that I can recommend is the Triton charger from Great Planes. It chargers 1 to 24 NiCD, NiMH, 6V, 12V and 24V gel cells, Li Ion / Li Polymer cells. It is also good that this charger is able to charge single cell for glow plug ignitor. I believe the charger is pretty suited for a gas car racer's needs.

WOW... that is one GOOD sounding charger, gel cels, and glow plug cells... AND it also chages normal cells... sheesh.

That's the one although I think she's driving the Yokomo GT4 this year in the foam class.

I thought that with the NTC3, she drove in the rubber class last year.

With regret Serpent must announce that Ralph Burch is unable to race the Serpent "nitro" family of products. Ralph is exploring new business interests that will not allow him to keep his long time relationship with Serpent. We wish Ralph and his family well in their future endeavors.

I wish Ralph well. It was great speaking to him on the phone. I'm assuming he's staying on with Xray since he has done so well.





Does anyone know the reason why, his business interest dont allow him to, has he joined another team?

She did, but I see this year at the first round she qualified 2nd for the 'A' Main in the national foam class and finished 5th.
