I used 35 shore and 37 shore rear on that setup and it worked well too. No traction roll problems.

I use lowest roll center in the front and slightly higher roll center (UBO / LB) than the stock rear roll center (UTI / LB) with the solid front axle setup.

i use the rear setup UBO/LB...but not with solid rear axle or even the front solid. the shorter arm at the rear.

Thanks bro...:D

No problems bro. I assume that for the GQ 0 offset front tire on is 0.25 mm wider on one side and the 0 offset rear tires are 0.5 mm wider on one side. I always knew that GQ tires have slightly "wider" offset when compared to the other tires. Perhaps that accounts for their "more" grip.

The reason why we are getting GQ +2 mm offset rear tires is because the GQ importer here is bringing them in ! Guess for which car ! :flaming:

that shorter arm is really short...in order to get 3.5 or 3deg chamber...the whole thing just touched together. i can't even see the pivot ball anymore..is that correct:eek:

No Dee. its per wheel !! amazing yaa.!
What I do, I set my trackwidth using GQ, and if I am using EVI rims, I put wheel spacer accordingly.
Thanks for describing for me.

"Feel more grip" yes.. coz they wear in faster rate.

anyone here has the clutch mod? does it really make a bifg difference?, I ask because I finally fired up my engine but It took forever to go, I had to rev it a lot

SupermaxxRich 03-17-2004 09:26 PM

how do you guys tighten the coupler that goes over the spring?? It has two slots in it opposite from each other? I have no clue how to tighten that turd? Please Help, thanks.

SupermaxxRich 03-17-2004 09:30 PM

Just gained a little more finger strength and twisted it with my finger:D Is this what you guys are doing?

SupermaxxRich 03-17-2004 09:33 PM

So, with the clutch shoe mod, I'm a little confused. After you cut down all three shoes a little you don't put the shoes on the pegs you put them inbetween???:weird:  At least thats what understood from the pictures?? Let me know, thanks.

SupermaxxRich 03-17-2004 09:37 PM

How do you adjust that spring nut after the car is all together??:weird:

You can buy the Mugen tool which is expensive for that purpose or you can get this new tool from Serpent. Cheaper as it is made of plastic versus aluminum.

It is actually the top right one. You can also use it to tighten the pressure nipple on the tank with the other end of the tool.

Yes, put the flyweights in between the metal post.

How much is your clutchbell to clutch shoe spacing? Are you at 0.7 mm as per the manual? Loosen the pre-tension spring nut until you get decent engagement.

If you want to get more punch out of the clutch, do the flyweight mod. You may want to use 0.4 mm or 0.5 mm as the clutchbell to clutch shoe spacing.
