I think you need initialD to help advise you on taking pics, maybe a bit more lighting.

Default seal between header and pipe (for in-line pipes )

Hi,

does anybody know the big seal between the header and the pipe? Only for in-line pipes.
I cannot find a damn thing about it(looked in many places)
!

Is it just an exhaust seal for a .21 engine or what?
thx!

The jammy bugger took all three cars! His 710, 705 and Impulse Pro!!!!! He should have offered me one of them to drive so that I could at least go and race!

JFC, although mine was not completely set-up yet (as on my HUDY that is), I just couldn't resist starting the car. So today I ran 3 tanks on the bench and then 2 more on the track because its a new engine.

Don't change the pinion and in fact I would also recommend not modding your flyweights just yet. This car is FAST and the pick-up and punch is there.

The only thing I did different to the manual is to do what D did with his for the clutch bell. My floating end-play is minimal and the clutch nut set to 0.9mm.

I'm nervous just thinking what it'll be like after the engine is fully tuned, its rich now!

Kempower, the large seal is for the seal between the pipe and the manifold. Put this seal there and then you link up the three small springs. The smaller one is for sealing from the exhaust port of the engine to the manifold.

Don't worry. When summer comes, you'll be a fantastic driver !
It's great, I must say - for someone like me with not too much experience, it's a god-send! I can play around a lot with the setup without having to worry about the motor (or leaves on the track)
As I'm running the car on a small carpet track with no run-off, my driving is improving - I haven't broken anything yet!!

As I was in the UK over christmas, I haven't got any running done, but I hope to go the the carpet track on sunday.

As a side note and I've just remembered, do you have any news on the secret one-way thingy

Cheers, Mark.

Thx but, perhaps my question was not completely clear. I do know why it's used for ,but I do not have a part number about it. I do not know where to buy spare ones...as I don't know the particular name for this seal.
