If I had to pay for it, I would not have gotten it in my toolbox. It was a "dorr gift" during last year's Serpent Asia Challenge in Thailand.

And they also purposely had the tool made so that you could only use 3 pin flywheel design to avoid people with *spit* clutches using it.

p/s: I'm the first to get the Serpent 711...

What are the differences between the 705 and 710?

710 is the complete replacement of 705 with totally different chassis construction in which Mr. D used to not want to replce his fully opntioned 705 to the new 710... I guess thats the way he earns so many posts and dramatize the whole changes thing (j/k)

Eh Mr. Pyramid, the rear diff you're using comes from the 705 !

Oopphs, no... It comes from the Impact actually including your dogbones. Let's not dramatize about it.

And not forgetting the rear belt, that Centax 2 spring, the front steering knuckles, the wheel hex adators and the drive cups.

Perhaps your car is more suited to be called the 711.

Mark's going to buy mine. He's the big spender. That will be my pay for being his pit monkey at the WinterNats 2006. I just hope he's not too old by then

Default Wowowow...

Thanks to NiMo and the boys at 3hobby, look what I found...

Looks like a BMI version of the Serpent chassis ! Will this be stiffer seeing that most mounted parts would be machined at 3 mm? Looks cool.

And look what else is in store... The long awaited hop up part.

Does not look Hudy though... I think they would make different shafts to fit the Impulse / 705 cars.

p/s: Pyramid, any inside news on this?

Nice looking chassis but it dosn't have slots under the motor for any cooling. Also any word on how tough on those CVD's?
