The mtx5 is working really well now, so it's all about fine tuning the car to give me what I want. Great car!

I use a tiny thin bit of blue gasket sealant on the gasket and had very little spillage

Thumbs up Well done Robert

Well it's great to see Robert doing well in the Euro Nitro Series.
Both in 1/8 & 1/10.
Great work mate.
I was keen to see what if any trick bits he's running and I like to see his setup data after this race.
I had a look at the photos of his MTX5 and saw a few neat tricks and see if you guys can spot them.
Front diff, original style chassis with some extra holes, maybe an new engine mount hole pattern, small receiver battery, springs? check out the rears.
I see he is still using his carbon cross brace but no rear brace as many are using.

Really good to see an MTX5 back in the top listing all the best for tommrow Robert.

Default Brace

Could Mugen do something similar to what Hot Bodies have done with their R10 and brace the rear bulkheads to the engine mount?

the brace is an old one which some drivers are already using since last year.
