I know some of the guys on hear swear by the brace made by trackside Rc I believe . I'll try to take a pic of what I have and it works fine for me.

If you read back quite a few pages you will see that the brace alone will not eliminate stripping, it's also gear alignment spacing etc. once u have the formula this car is an animal!

Oh and to answer your question , I don't strip gears.

stripping
Reedy...an any new mtx5 driver...u can use the brace for stripping...but one of the best solution is the one piece motor mount an the stift chassis..we been driving this car for almost 2 seasons..we tried everything..a must is the mount...we have guys just running the mount wit a stock car an dont strip...if u want to be safe run all three..an yes when u get that fixed the car is a Beast!!!

hi we have used trackside brace 5 days racing at nats last year and /final and no problems //and all the old kit bits the car is great when you get it right
