What's the webpage to the 3Racing chassis? I wanna compare prices since Tower's pretty high and won't be in for a while. I'd like to deck out the R40 a bit, while I try to sell some of my other stuff. Here's what I have to sell
MGT (less body, tyranny)
TL01 super RTR( bunch of elec crap, etc).
MT12 (nothing for it to really go in. RB is more powerful and reliable anyway )
HB buggy (Not really sure if I'd sell it all, because if I do, then I'll get the AD2 and some other engine to race at Barn Stormers. Doing the R40 and running the 8th buggy will be too much with a real car, so I'm knocking the buggy off. I don't drive it much anyway.

awesome tip HARK, right now I have my car set up to race with the lola body, it is handling way better than anything I have tried before, but I will try the offset tip next week...
BTW this is the track I'll be racing at this weekend...

It is at El Salvador, which is around 2 1/2 hours away, but what I like is the fact that is on top of a hill and you can see San salvador, the city... lol

Lower gearing option
Now that many of us are running the LW 2-speed which uses the 0.8 gears here is a simple way to improve your gearing for improved acceleration. On the main drive shaft (shaft that has the 2-speed on it) replace the 19T (two of them) with 18T pulleys.
By changing both, the "overdrive" ratio remains the same but the main shaft/rear axle ratio is changed from a 0.413 ratio to 0.391 ratio.
Example : 0.391 ratio meaning that the main drive shaft rotates 2.55 times for evey one revolution of the rear axle. (inverse of 0.391 = 2.55). Compare this to 0.413 (main drive shaft rotates 2.32 times for every one revolution of the rear axle). Thus the .391 provides more engine RPM for same speed.
-----------------19T------- 18T-------------
axle ratio ------ 0.413----- 0.391----------
I'll try it out to see how significant improvement this is. It might just be easier to run a lower profile tire instead.

Here we go.
I also already have the cf front shock tower on the car and the side / mid cf brace.
As well the rear shock tower should be here....*knock at door*. Ok its now here....lol. That was freaky. Right when I typed should be here...I get a knock at the door.
Thats a good bit of weight savings im hoping.
Also the gpm front sway bar and gpm steering kit is better than 3racing. So just letting people know.

Jag-Great idea man. I thought of using the 20T pinion for first instead. If I remember correctly the stock LW pinion was 21 or 22, but I'll check.
